Hello Abhinav, your videos are very useful, thank you. I have same model Safari, bought 1.5 months bck, done 3200km.. vehicle is overall excellent , same issues you mentioned i am also facing
Planning to get Safari Pure + S AT Any suggestions w.r.t issues pls? Took Xuv 700 AX7 Diesel AT test drive but didn't feel comfortable in back seat as well as lack of telescopic steering wheel
Safari Pure+S AT is a descent variant. 1 thing I have noted is that Tata has a better feature distribution on lower variants as compared to Mahindra, which is a big plus. Along with that you can get good upgrades from outside market. Mechanically there is hardly any issue with Safari. Most issues are either on electronics or S/w related, which anyways will be lesser on lower variants as compared to top end.
Thanks, very informative video. I have booked the same car and will be getting delivery next week. I agree about the sub par music experience at this price point. Have you tried installing Sub Woofer as I believe this car has the same round subwoofer compartment in the boot that is there in the top variant. If yes, the cost and does it void warranty ?
I have fitted an underseat amplifier under the front left seat & a subwoofer in the space for sub in the boot. Connection is taken from door speakers to the amplifier without cutting any wires using dual 2way connectors One wire for powering the amplifier was connected directly from outside the battery. No need to open dashboard. run the wire from left side near battery to left door & tugg it inside the door rubbers & then you take the wire out from below the pillar behind the left door to connect the underseat amplifier. The subwoofer connection is taken from the amplifiers subwoofer out the wire is sent from inside the left down panels below the rubber & then into the sub woofer compartment in the rear by tugging the wire inside the panels. In the whole process no wire is visible & all the connection is without cutting any wire. Service centre employees wont even notice it as ur sub is inside the sub space & ur amplifier hidden under seat. I had a major problem as the fan belt & some engine component was making noise which tata replaced it under warranty they never enquired about the amp & sub
I always prefer to buy top end as it comes with more features like additional speakers, sub woofers, and many other non music related features too like bigger screen, bigger alloys, powered tail gate etc. Yest budget js a concern but some times u feel the stretch is worth and need to do some stuggles later on, after purchase to handle the extra spend later . .:)
most of the issue are resolved with the s/w update or I have learned the workaround to avoid them over a period. Congratulation on booking Accomplished + AT.
I too own a Safari Adv+ AT + A. i see whenever i turn right or left my music system start giving problem and eventually stops the only work around i found is to switch from FM to music and it's start working... i am also looking for new Safari badge to put on bonnet i can only find with old safari fonts. let me know if you find new ones
This is very weird defect. Pl connect with SC and get it rectified. New S/w update is also available. A friend of mine got new font mascot for his harrier in bangalore so i guess for safari also it is available at SC.
Hi, thanks for such mature and sensible review. I am looking to buy this vehicle but got confused after looking at so many videos showing so many problems with safari. Please help me whether i should buy this vehicle. It will not be possible for me to visit workshop again and again due to my busy schedule. It would be great help. Thanks
Puneet: Tata cars are very good mechanically. most of the issues are related to the software in the car. if you can go for Adventure plus or lower... you will have very minimal issues in the car.
12:57 Jai Jinendra...Hi....i have bought Accomplished +..6 seater...i am not happy with ventilated seats..cooling not good.....are you facing same problem with ventilated seats.. ..i have travelled 11200..kms in 5 months thanks for your informative vdo's..waiting for your reply..thanks
Rajiv ji, mine is adventure plus model, without ventilated seats. As per my understanding & experience... ventilated seats work well if you use them in short intervals. If you keep them continuously on... the effect will reduce in the single drive. Secondly, Ventilated seats don't use cooled air. they are just like fan in the seat. hope this helps.
Sir the new update 15.07 is nice it doesn't have glitches or are v minimal . Update it I also did it but I've harrier adventure plus dk at and glad I bought it as you're saying more electronics more problems
Thanks Raj ji. I have got it updated and as you mentioned... it has reduced the glitches. but 1 problem I'm still facing is -> Map doesn't zoom in on instrument cluster, it just shows the zoomed out i.e. complete route only. Trying to find solution for that.

Sir Please Clear My Confusion I am PLanning TO buy a new car And i am confused between XUV700 And THIs MOdel Tata SAfari Adventure Plus So please Clear My doubt
I personally liked Tata Safari over XUV 700 coz of some reasons: 1. Tan interior / Upholstery over white 2. Better build quality 3. External looks 4. Seating space in last row & ability to adjust middle row leg room 5. Didn't want big screen of XUV 6. Camera display for indicator coming in instrument cluster in XUV was distractions and not useful for me 7. ease of reach to eco & sports mode in Tata as Physical buttons 8. Waiting period at that time for XUV 9. terrain modes (wet & Rough) in Tata are useful 10. apple car play at that time was not available in XUV 11. Didn't like XUV Automatic ... tata was better for me that too with e-shifter 12. Tata safari gave me better feel of driving big SUV. These are some of the parameters which I considered while making a decision to buy Safari. I would recommend you also find your parameters to evaluate the vehicle which suits you, ur needs & ur style. All in all every car or manufacturer has their Pros & Cons. you have decide who's Pros are needed and whose cons you can live with. Hope my response helps you.
First of all they need extra wiring which is not good for vehicle and battery Second, those lights are not good for pedestrians and other vehicles. I don’t recommend them to anyone.
I drive very less in city... but I have noticed it to be about 10-11kmpl in Bangalore & on Highway I get about 16-18kmpl with mostly in City mode and some cruise control.
