Alex the Terrible Stops the Show when He sees a Fan go Down - Pittsburgh PA - 7/11/23

- A young woman with a history of seizures had one in the middle of Zevali Ebalo. There was an ER nurse close to her in the crowd. He checked her out to see she was okay. She's totally fine and got to watch most of the show with her fiance from a side door.
Anyone who stops a concert for their fan's safety deserves the fans they have. What he said afterwards about not being special says something about his character.
Well said, I have been to too many early 00' shows were it seemed like the thing to do was just beat everyone up. That's no fun and nobody really gets to watch the show they were there to see
What if she was a he trans tho?
No auto subtitles 😡😥

Yet people dislike russians, we are as human as it gets
The professionalism and patience from the band is amazing to see! It seems the heavier the band, rhe more caring they are. Glad she's okay.
ever been to a metal festival? it's like woodstock but all wear black and the music is way harder^^
I was at Mayhem Fest when it was 100 degrees and Whitechapel said if anyone falls down, stomp them out. Atreyu was right after them and said we're all here to have fun, if someone falls, help them up and make a friend. Heavier definitely doesn't mean nicer.
@@austinnewhart2959I think that some bands that have based around very harsh and personal experiences tend to be a bit more human. I think the guys who make music around such sad and hard things to deal with feel a lot more responsible for their fans and their well being. Not always the case sadly and you have some real pieces of shit out there but I feel this is true across most genres so long as the lyrical content is the similar.
The opposite of the rapper that watched his fans get crushed to death
@@TheDarkestPaladin that dude is a piece of shit. Most rappers, most performers of any time are gonna be spotter for anybody going down. It's just the outlier scum that don't care or try to get people hurt.
"Stay human all the time" - лучше и не скажешь. Саня - молодец.
We live in a time when deathcore bands show more care for their fans than pop stars do.
it is, like ghost, after the show they said tanks to the crowd and it came from the bottom of their haerts, metall is the best, its cause these guys have to take care for their fans, they eat mud and have to give a show for every single dollar the collect

True.
For me, an additional reason to love this video is that this big, impressive man admits in front of a large crowd that he is scared. No huge ego or fear for his reputation or anything getting in the way of his sincerity and humanity. That's one hell of a message to give off to your fans.
Tbf, it seems like it was their first show in the US, I think. His band might have gotten in trouble if anything bd happened. And it wouldn't be their fault.
Great move to stop the concert, even if it was for PR reasons. However, I changed my mind when he told the audience to be quiet. Like, it wasn't expected of him, and yet he did. I'm not too into his music, but he does have my respect.

It doesn't matter anymore though. Fuck Alex Terrible. Nazis get the guillotine.
Regardless, there's not a single thing that any woman, Western or anywhere globally, needs to accept just to make men more comfortable. Get used to the boundaries. We're no longer pretending to be the delicate flowers y'all need to inflate your ego & support your bullshit.

This happened right infront of me. It was scary. But so awesome when the girl got up threw the horns up and got a hug from Alex!! Such a good show and a good hearted guy. The end really shows who he is. Can't wait to see them again. And for anyone wondering, the slaughter pits are INSANE

It's because if someone gets hurts at the show the band/label get sued.
Alex looks like hellish beast on stage, but in real life he is sweet man
why? are there artists out there that are ok with people in their audience dying?
More proof that metal heads are the most genuine people you'll ever meet. I love artists that do this for their audience. Love you STP! 🤘💀❤️

Alex himself is a class act dude, best of the best, and yeah I agree, any band who stops the show out of concern for one of their fans is badass, but......*coughs* I mean some of the people wanted them to keep playing even though someone might have been hurt, those particular metal heads did not prove themselves to be genuine people.

Voice of satan, heart of an angel. Saw them live last week opening for FIR. Am such a fan now and who can not just adore Alex?
How do you know what satan sounds like? 😂 i thought satan would sound like a black dude fornsome reason
Considering the devil is supposed to be a very handsome guy I doubt he would sound anything like this but rather have an attractive voice

It is weird tbh, but I think we have nicer people in the supposedly "edgy" metal community compared to the mainstream artists like rapper that didn't care people were being crushed

@CabanonGuitarHero I slipped on a wet floor during a POD concert one time and the people around me were like "get him up!" And I thought that was cool even though I was embarrassed. But during the next song, Sonny got into the crowd around the same spot that I slipped and he did the same thing and was like "we need to clean that up!" Lol. He didn't get hurt either. I had a similar experience a while ago, on a Motionless in White concert. The band was building up for a big breakdown and Chris was asking for a huge mosh pit, when suddenly his voice got calmer and asked if someone was hurt. And I thought it was surprising because the place was fairly crowded, and he still easily spotted someone falling on the ground, far from the stage. After a few seconds, everyone in that area gave a thumps up, Chris said something along the lines of "oh, good. My bad, thought something was wrong. Let's start over", and the band started the build up from the beginning. This moment lasted for only about twenty seconds, but I loved to be there to watch it. Everyone stopped the gig, made sure the person in question was alright, and only then they carried on

This is what the metal community is! The only times you'll get a crowd who wouldn't of done the same thing as happened here would be at a arena venue (too many people too much going on, security will rush in with stretcher and bulldoze the audience to get people out fortunately) or at some crowdkill show (the crowdkillers would help too they just have to notice it happening first lol). It's always been this way at every show I've been to since 2008 Summer Slaughter to last year which is something like 220ish (wish it were more lol), and I imagine the younger fans will emulate the old as I once did and carry on the traditions into the future! I love metal shows so much man, I’ve seen countless bands stop everything if they see trouble in the crowd and the crowd is always so quick to help each other too. I saw StP a couple weeks ago, there were way to many under 10 kids in the pit for my liking but there was a handful of the biggest dudes at the show basically being bodyguards to make sure the kids didn’t get hurt. I’m not surprised Alex reacted like he did and I’m glad the person was ok!

I saw them down in Richmond. Was a good show but an odd mixup of bands. All of us Slaughter fans afterward were surprised how quickly they came on and went. They were playing Bonebreaker as I was walking thru the parking lot!

I remember Ozfest 2006 I believe, Disturbed did exactly this because they saw someone get hurt in the pit. Turned out there was a dude in a wheelchair in the pit, and people were trying to get him to "mosh". The band refused to play until he was brought up on stage to hang with them through the whole set. Mad respect to these bands.
I saw something similar when Machine Head opened for Slipknot during one of their tours. There was a guy in a wheelchair who was trying to see. All the guys around him just picked him up wheelchair and all and he was able to enjoy the rest of Machine Heads set.
This was one of the greatest things I’ve seen personally.
I'll never forget Warped Tour 08 at Mountain View, got to see A Day To Remember. Second song into their set, a crowd surfer ended up falling head first to the ground before security could catch them. Soon as the song ended, Jeremy (lead singer) saw what happened and immediately stopped the set. They gave up about 20 minutes of a 30 minute set, only got to play three songs, and were still gracious, concerned, and thankful everyone was okay. Not just a great band, truly great people. That spirit of community and care is one of the best things about hard Rock and metal shows. Nothing but respect and love for Alex here!
