I'm planning on buying the CB650R in the next few weeks. On my previous bikes I always used the Dunlop Q3+ tires. They had a great balance of grip and tread life. Never tried the Michelins, but maybe this time I might.
guys this bike vs new CB750, which would you recommend? my usage will be 90% daily commuting to work in the city. would both of these bike too big for my purpose?
Too big for 90% of your usage yes! But depends what your other 10% is, if it's tearing around twistys in high revs then go for the 650 if it's just a longer trip out of town hornet is better. I've ridden both, both great but very different characters.
How do you spin the wheel so easily? Is the tyre like completely worn out? I have the same bike and I’ve never had the wheel spin like that just from going full throttle.
I bought the akra exhaust for my cb650r 2021 mod, and the difference is huge. Much better sound and a noticeable performance difference. The exhaust in this video is the original system. The exhaust was expensive though.
@@simenrsas9049 Nice, thanks! I don't think I will get it yet, it's crazy expensive and I also am worried that it will be too loud. I think the stock exhaust sounds pretty good already but yeah, the Arka does sound awesome. Also I have heard that the Akra exhaust gives a huge torque dip in the mid range that is noticeable. You can see it in the dyno graphs that Akra provide. I assume if you tune the bike you can get rid of this torque dip but then you have to factor in even more $$$. So for now I will stick with the stock exhaust.
@@The.JZA. I actually took the DB killer out of my exhaust cause I wanted it to be louder. The bike makes a lot of noice when it is cold, but after it’ve warmed up the idle noice is not that much louder than the stock idle noice. The akra exhaust on for example an MT07 is much louder. My bike is also A2 restricted so I’ve not noticed the torque dip, but I’ve always felt that the cb650r has less torque at lower rpms. Anyways, the exhaust was very expensive, but I cant say I regret purchasing it.
It's an upright seating position, smooth power delivery snd manageable horsepower motorcycle, it's basically perfect, I'd just park it up somewhere safe as they're quite flashy might attract thieves
@@motoraw , so, you will say it would be the personal choice? Currently I have Hornet on mind to get order from local dealer, but general question for you would be - How smooth and or how dynamic is Hornet`s 2 cylinder engine? I meant, there are no problems with gear switch , like, starting ride I mean from 0km/h with 1st gear? How smooth engine with gearbox works? Doesn`t it bounce or annoying "jumping" ? I know clutch release is important as well, how smooth it is. I hope Hornet with 2 cylinder engine will Not suprise me badly. :D Otherwise €9.5k put right in trash. :D PS - €9.5k price includes accessories. :)

Depends, if you're going to use it as a daily and most of your journey thru the highway then pick cb650r but if you go thru town with alot of junction and traffic light then choose hornet 750, If you're going to use it as a weekend bike instead, pick cb650 if you like that high end torque but if you want hooligan like experience with a lot of down end torque then choose hornet 750, It's not that hard to choose between this two since they got different configuration based on your needs

The original tires had poor grip, so I replaced them with Michelin Road6s. The changes were huge and they were very flexible.
I can only agree👌

I’d take the 650 because inline 4 is so smooth and looks way cooler than the 750.
