Hi, Plumber from Germany here. In our Company we don´t Solder anymore. Infact we are only Using Viega Profipress Fittings for everything. Be it heating or drinkingwater installation. We got rid of the torches/electric soldering clamps like 20 years ago. 5 Years ago we started to replace all powertools from various brands with all Hilti Cordless tools, including the press tools. Some types of soldering are no longer even allowed on drinking water pipes according to regulations. For Underfloor heating we are often using multilayer composite pipe like Uponor.
Love your videos , as a sparky I enjoy watching your videos and how you do your job , quick and with great care , and pride . Keep them coming hope you make some longer formatted videos as well like this.
The van setup is awesome but I could see it being an issue getting material out of that style of bin when you've got two toilets or something down the middle
We had a guy work with us who used to polish his pipe like this. The inspecter asked how long he has been plumbing. I use acetylene to solder it comes out clean after you wipe your joints no need to use flux after its soldered.
Hey boy You know witness marking fitting depth after you push the fitting on is really just ornamental? They have tools to pre mark tube depth so you know prior to loosing visibility … Some of those fitting clearances are questionable too but press on bro

Loved this channel but now it’s just an ad for that company 😂very single time. Can’t he talk about them every other time and keep making fun videos that don’t trigger me to look for skip ad button
So .. do most of these California house have irrigation systems -- and that's what the other line goes to? So different than areas that have to deal with freezing temps. Love the vids and thanks for sharing your knowledge
Here in Southern California Los Angeles Area, there’s always an Irrigation system tied into the main and also they usually Tee off for the pool in the backyard
Not as much as long showers, washing cars, water parks, pools, and the people who don’t have their irrigation regulated by timers and zones. Just out there housing the whole yard
It isn't much money considering it pays for itself on only a few jobs. It isn't my go-to for every repair but it's the right tool for the job on a lot of service calls. You just have to weigh the time vs money solution. Pro press fittings cost a lot but it saves labor. Labor for plumbers is expensive too.
So do you work down south? I thought it was code up north not south to cover the pipe with insulation after it's finished? Or do you just not show that part for the videos sake? (Legit asking, not shitting on you)
Really liking this channel. Learning how , when, why and when to hire a PRO.

What's the PVC for ? Is that like a irrigation system or something
Yes it’s for irrigation
That tool got paid off on that call alone imo
👍💯🔥❤️🙂Great job Evan keep up the good work
Who comes strictly for the voice overs??😂😂
Is the pipe after the green handle for irrigation?
Eyyyy boii back in my day lol
What is the black cover thing rounded around pipe on the bottom of the main? Im guessing is to protect the copper?
So why is there no pressure vacuum breaker ? Just curious
Hey boy

Fitting clearances are for “ideal scenarios.”

I'm getting sharkbite adds before you vids.😅
Non plumber question:
I noticed three different cutting tools were used at the beginning. What are the advantages of each?
❤
Hey boy, I didn't know you were sponsored by milwaukee 😲

How long did that take?
why didn't he just adjust the pressure regulator value first to a lower psi first....why cut the whole unit out??
Because the regulator go bad, and they probably wanted to get rid of those gate valves

Would you have to insulate that or leave as is?
Fkn voice overs are killer!
Bro you’re dope . But can you make full video? Or at least slow it down
How many Hey boys . Could a hey boy . Hey boy . If a boy Hey Boy'd 🤣🤣
How do I get a hold of you to see if I am in your service area?
What does something like this cost?
A thousand bucks

You should of installed a quarter turn spout instead of the multi-turn.Those things fail over time.
Hey boy, have you been smoking those plants.
What is the name of the green key?
Pipes knock whenever we flush the toilet use the sink etc.
Replace the valves on the pipe. They tend to do that whenever the gasket inside to close the water fails and gets in the way of the water
Who does the other voices in the video?
I do
I’m local. What’s your business name?
?
Hey boy dont make fun of ted talkies
Too much flux brotha
Never trust a bum plumber that uses solder paste to clean his joints
