Alfa Romeo 159 / Brera headlight projector lens cleaning.

This tutorial shows how to clean the projector lens in the headlight of your Alfa Romeo 159 / Brera. This video examples a non-xenon headlight.
If you are not satisfied with the performance of your headlights, most probably the lens are dirty inside. Prior buying new headlights you can try this method. In some extreme cases the reflector can be burnt / cracked, it will show once the projector assembly is in your hand.
You will need a T25 torx driver, an 8mm socket and a clean cloth to finish this task.
Taking out your headlights requires the removal of the front bumper.
The whole process should take approx. 2 really easy hours, even for an unexperienced home tinkerer.

Hey keep on doing those videos man, I have a 159 keep on ! what about the other headlamps, leds, did you have to make a hole on the back plastic cover of the headlight in order to fit the led ... or how did you install it?

No, I have low profile LED-s installed, they are really crappy, but they fit under the stock cap. Still in search for a better one, these perform like stock halogen bulbs.

Did it make any difference?i wanted to replace my projectors but i.ll get them out first to see if they are dirty..mine has 156k on the clock
