Symphonic extreme metallers ZORNHEYM have unleashed a new track taken from the band's upcoming album, titled "The Zornheim Sleep Experiment", which will be out October 22nd via German label Noble Demon! After the already released first single "Keep The Devil Away", the band delivers with "Slumber Comes In Time" another stunning harbinger of the new album, which impresses with folk elements as well as orchestral arrangements! Says the band:
"The epic chorus of Slumber Comes in Time is based around a folk tune from the 16th century that the Wallons brought to Sweden. The male choir and the epic orchestral parts present a new side of Zornheym’s crushing sound."

Founded and led by multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Zorn (ex- DARK FUNERAL), ZORNHEYM quickly grew from an ambitious idea into a dramatic musical and narrative driven concept revolving around the horrors of a mental institution and its prisoners. Simply amazing, another fantastic melody and ear catching song! Most probably one of the albums of this year of 2021, you guys keep on amazing us with outstanding songs one after the other. We wonder it takes allot of time to reach this level of perfection and detail. The whole melody gets you hooked to the song and makes you listen to it in repeat! Outstanding work and step forwards, it's amazing to see this is only the 2nd album. The whole band sound better than ever and the whole ending result is only possible due to the impressive tallent of each member! Been an adept of Zorn and Bendler work through the years and I must say this is their best work ever! Yet another amazing lyric video, awesome ending result! Congratulations in all accounts! Yes it is based on a melody called Risingevisan. However later Another lyrics writer wrote a text called “ack Värmland du sköna”, so you can basically call the melody either or. Risingvisan was the first one however.
