@@DatasciencewithManu Hi Sir... I am having a problem in displaying the Polygons and Data... Can u share ur email Id ? I will send u email... To give u a brief, I have Village level Polygon and Data Set which also has State District and Sub district as Columns. I want to click on State to show the aggregate of all the metrices of Villages that belong to that state and similarly for District and Sub district level data also ..
Basically like Drilling up and down for Data on a Single Map... Is that possible ??? The Shape file has Village level polygons only but I want to display State level, District level as well as Sub district level polygons with the aggregated data.

Hello, I love your video. Can you let me know how to deal with missing data due to name difference. I have the two files shape file and excel file. The problem is that the name is different in some places in excel and shape file. How do I resolve this? I have the data available but due to name issue, it is dropping values.

Glad that you liked the video.. this is one major challenge while dealing with maps. Not only misspelled places but also at times one can get different places with same name. There is no direct solution to it as far as I know, you would have to correct the incorrect names manually. If there are too many names then you can get them fixed in an excel sheet and then import.. hope this helps !

      Hi,
In case you are looking to create single national level shape file from state shape files you can do the following:
      1. Use QGIS or other GIS tool to merge shape files and then use them in tableau (check this post):
      ua-cam.com/video/2gfSHkKLVXQ/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AndyKriebel
      2. Use the intersect and makepoint feature in tableau to create join. You might need structural identity in all shape files. (check this post):
      esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-desktop/mapping/merging-multiple-shapefiles-into-a-single-shapefile/
      Hope this helps !
