Are you doing any modding of the AI in this series? I'm running my own 1999 season in NR4, but the AI is so buggy at some tracks (Rockingham, Bristol, Martinsville) that the races are basically unplayable, with massive pile-ups every other lap, cars getting glitched inside the pace car, etc.
@@ACracing24 I remember the problem in NR4 is that the AI does not do collision detection vs other AI but there is a soft threshold that allows the cars to penetrate each other slightly before they collide, and that causes all sorts of issues. Maybe that was fixed in NR2003.
azarisLP sounds familiar. They added something in nr2003 called ai wall offset that let’s you adjust how often AI cars touching equals an actual collision. 100 would mean every time. 80 would mean 80% of the time
@@ACracing24 That sounds similar to NR4. The problem is the AI is too aggressive and sometimes the cars penetrate until they get launched into orbit, iRacing style. Did you edit those values in NR2003?
Craven leading there going along with the actual race is wild. Love watching these series btw!
Ha! Thanks! I couldn’t believe it either.

Yeah I’ve done a ton in the track.ini files. But that’s for NR2003. I’m not sure how the AI modding works in NR4.

azarisLP I’ve kept them all at 100. They must have really fine-tuned it between 4 and 2003
Great to see Rockingham again. Good Race.
