Ive had girls ask to take my bottles just so they can sniff the bottle. That was a few years ago though. Maybe now they prefer less masculine fragrances like YSL Y
It was so perfect, novel, irresistible and embarrassingly powerful when it first came out - it had a pheromone quality, and was very frowned upon for daytime use - it's now a shadow of its former self, but since the original is not available, I still buy the current version. I haven't tried the parfum, but I'm not after experiencing its dna in anything else. Fahrenheit's father is Grey Flannel, but there's so much buzzing about in that, that you could easily miss the family resemblance.
Camp love! You all have to look at fragrances two ways - and the most important is, do YOU like it? Too many reviews are focused on what others will think about your scent - your opinion matters most! For me, this is one that I LOVE so I can now only look at the folks who give it compliments as far as people you might want to meet/talk to.
You are so right ✅️ 👏🏼 whew,I believe it's smells 😳 really interesting, a different scent, brings joy to ones heart mind and soul creating a unique feeling of joy within yourself. 😊
@@rottenrebels I actually haven’t tried it yet, but from what I’ve been hearing it’s a way fresher scent and I’m looking for the classic gasoline/petrol scent which I think is just excellent. If I do have a chance to try it though, I’ll report back and fill you in on my perspective on it. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
@@TheWriter86welp , have ya tried it yet? And did you get the original edt? I just ordered the edt , haven’t had a bottle since the 90’s but bought the Le parfum last year.. it’s pretty good, kinda powdery,.. but good. I Got a sample of the OG recently and immediately ordered it the next day from jomashop ✅👌I forgot how good it is!!
This scent shaped my youth - I recognize it immediately among hundreds of scents. Whenever a man wears this scent - and it has become rare - I immediately ask if it is Fahrenheit - I am 100% correct and we immediately start a conversation - just about this scent.
I layered this with Valentino Uomo Acqua the other day. The tomato leaf mixed with the petrol smell made me smell like I just finished mowing the lawn. Once it hit drydown though, it became a really nice scent and is a combination I may try again.
For me its one of the greatest of all time. Wore it a lot in my twenties. Also loved Issey Miyake from the same time. Just recently got some more. Both amazing the only two I wore from back then that I would rate highly today. Would love to find similar fragrances to these two today
For me, this is the only fragrance that make me love at first sniff. I agree with you when you said you want something different, one that stands out among the rest and this fragrance is a testimony for that. I bought this just three months ago and I put already so much dent to it 😁. #camplove!
#camplove 🙌😉 Fahrenheit is SO different from everything else.. In a good way. If you want to stand out from the crowd.. Then Fahrenheit. 🤩 NICE WORK BTW by already putting a dent to it!! HAHA. Good work! 😎
@@rottenrebels if only a 200ml bottle is available here in my country, i won't think twice buying it. 💪 I'm glad that I found your channel man. Keep doing great contents. I'm looking forward to it. 😎
Farenheit alongside Anteus are the only truly bold and masculine frags I've known to this date. Im still looking for something to replace Farenheit with but nothing comes close.
@07sushy I do get the gasoline note in mine I don't know exactly what could be the reason why you don't get it in yours. Because even if the bottle is newer like mine, it still should have a slight petrol note even though it might not be as prominent as in the older bottles. It may still have it in yours, but some people may not be able to pick it up because it's mixed with many other notes, so it might still have it.
@@dorf2070 Now you made me smile with Ambre Nuit!! That's a masterpiece.. I got addicted to it from the first sniff 🤩🙌 I have not tried the Nicolai and not sure I smelled Le Lion either. Thanks for sharing!!
Smelled it for the first time yesterday and ended up buying a bottle Deff not an everyday scent Good for summertime nightlife Like an outdoor patio or fire pit party Big attention grabber Really says “I’m single” or “I’m not single but she’s not calling the shots here” lol
The one and only. Although the reform smells a lot more like Claiborne's Bora Bora Exotic these days. Similar to how the original Polo was reformulated, but still an icon imo. Shame I never got to try some of the summer versions.
But does the EDT still wearable in the summer though? I live in hot and humid Singapore and I'm not sure if the performance will be as good in summer. I love the smell though
Do you know when it was reformulated last time? I just got a bottle of it and i feel like it smells a bit different than the one i smelled in the same store i brought it from
@@mihaitiba8077 Great question. I can't be sure. With new regulations coming out every year, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bi-annual occurance. But definitely give new bottles at least 6-8 months to settle. Since brands are just pumping out product these days, I doubt they give their formulas the requisite time to bloom. Could be another reason that reforms get much of the blame.
fahrenheit is not a loud fragrance. when the late 80's approaches towards the 90's fragrances were shifting towards fresh and aquatic, as compared to frangrances of the late 70's and early 80's up to mid 80's. those were the years that fragrance style was loud, bombastic, and in your face like polo ralph lauren, kuoros and opium ysl, giorgio beverly hills, obssession calvin klein, poison dior, drakkar noir guy laroche, anteus and coco chanel, santos cartier, bel ami hermes, bijan for men,, quorum puig,
Love love love this fragrance. Since my early-mid teens. I always feel the most sexiest wearing this. And it lasts forever on my skin.
🙌🙌🙌 It's an iconic and classic men's fragrance for a reason! 😁
💯💯
Love it brother
I love Fahrenheit EDT since the late 80s there's nothing like it.
it was released in 1988 and it's STILL a truly unique fragrance 🙌👌 Without a doubt a truly iconic fragrance! 😊

It literally smells like a lavender milkshake once the petrol calms down. Very relaxing. Theres lavender & tonka in this. Not loud and masc at all.

Ombre Leather is pretty good too, if you’re willing to splurge. Has a strong leather note as well.
Of course - in camp love Fahrenheit, how can one not be 👌🏻😊

Love fahrenheit one of mine and my father's favourites. The only complaint that I have is that I didn't get a bigger bottle.
