Would love your POV, last root touch up was done at a salon with 55/0 & 66/0 (I don’t know the ratio). If I want a cool mid brown what to use as a ratio, and can I bring it towards the ends as I have highlights that have turned very warm?
I need to start doing roots at home as I have too many greys and I cannot catch up.

Cooler choices would be 66/02 mixed with 5/2 or 5/18. 1:1 ratio. Welloxon developer 4% (45 mins development) I would always opt for colour touch or shinefinity to refresh ends
Note that application of roots yourself even if you are a professional results in banding due to overlapping. Application plays a big part in the overall result. I speak from experience of doing my own 😩 Hope that helps

@@hairupideas amateur application will never match that of professionals, I just need to learn how to make it good enough without damaging the hair when I cannot afford to go in. Thank you so much for your input, I appreciate it

Здравствуйте! Крашу волосы wella koleston,т.к.есть седина.6.00,6.71 и 6.1.Скажите пожалуйста в каких пропорциях смешать краски чтобы получить красивый цвет без теплого подтона? У меня густые,пористые волосы❤

Ok I would not use 6/00 or 6/71 as these have warm tones. Instead use
6/0 and 6/1 equal parts mixed with Welloxon 1:1 ratio 45 minutes developement.
Finish with colour touch 7/1 through mid lengths and ends to cool the warmth from previous colour

Lovely colour. Would you say the greys are completely coloured or are they more blended in to the hair? Would you say the final colour looks light or dark in natural light. Thank you.

It definitely is a mid/dark brown and yes all covered 100%. It’s took me a while to work out the exact formula and method with this particular client to achieve this result.
But definitely need 55/00 range for resistant hair and full saturation so I mix so much more colour than usual. Also development time 45 mins minimum.

@@hairupideasThank you so much for taking the time to reply. Just to confirm, is it 5/18 or 5/81 as you have two different formulas written in the video itself and underneath in info/transcript. Thanks again. Oh it's ok, I think your formula is 5/18 and 55/0, I've seen the boxes used in your video so I'll just use that formula. Cheers.
