Made the first east coast deployment with the F/A 18. What a great aircraft. Jump ahead about 10 years and I had a chance to meet the Blue Angels at NASB Brunswick Maine. What a great experience. Mike from Maine.
Oh my gosh, I love this so much! My older sister and I were there at Boeing Field every day the team was in town from about 7 AM to around 6 or 7 when the pilots left the debrief. I would have been 16 this day, and just starting to work on my PPL just a few miles north. We got to meet the mechanics, support team and all of the pilots. Truly amazing memories. Thank you so much for this. ❤ We did this every year from '99-2011 If you happen to have any footage of them starting up and taxiing out from parking, yous be able to see my sister and I in the crowd. 😊
The angels are back in Seattle THIS WEEKEND. 24 years later, still blitzing the beautiful blue summer skies of Seattle. Let's gooo!!!!!
Was at that show and am at the show and practice starting today. This is awesome. I was 38 that year. Had a huge party on my houseboat. Thanks Ryan

I can see these guys lined up in the cafeteria after the flight demo. "Gentlemen do you want eggs today?" "Scooter, Utah, Judge, Maverick !"
Living the dream! 🙌

The biggest wonder to me is how "Boss" keeps his orientation to the crowd the entire performance, and also how he rolls right into the next manuever.
