Everyone hates on her because she's hot, bottom line the distillers had 3 incredible and original punk albums in the early 2000s when most musicians thought punk played out and boring. I don't think her relationships have had anything to do with her trying to boost her career either, i'm sure it's just who she has been around and introduced to. She's talented though, but don't act like she has achieved some great feat in a male dominated industry, lol. It sure has been my experience that a beautiful girl is rarely discouraged in art or music. I've seen some that even suck but they always get noticed, mostly asked to be in a different band or try a new genre. Look at her, even if she sucked she'd have gotten attention. I love her too but I'd have been more surprised
I personally despise her because she is "relevant" only because Josh keeps bringing her on the tours. Nepotism at the highest level. And she accepts it.

Brody is stunning and her new album and recent interview and honesty about past drug use has changed my life, I have always listened to her lyrics and songs because they felt so much like how I felt about my drug addiction, and now that I know it's because she was dealing with the same drug makes me so hopeful and inspired. I love the new record and that it's more positive, and STRONG.. Btw she looks GORGEOUS I can't believe anyone thinks she's still on drugs.. Look at her skin!! And how good her makeup looks I've never seen her look this good and clean and put together, she obviously is in the best place she's ever been in and much happier and healthier - that makes me very happy.
Agreed....I met her and she was ridiculously kind and sweet to me. She played (well, with Spinnerette) in the city I live in which is fucking London Ontario Canada....'nowheresland' in comparison to the places she has been, and my bf asked her to wait for 10 min so I could get back to where the tour bus was at the side of the club and she did, and then she signed something for me and talked to me and everything for a while....she was awesome...I don't understand why people say she is a bitch....she is just an assertive, confident, tough woman and I think it's admirable. And, there's nothing wrong with her wanting to look good...because she does. I don't get it? Plus she is fucking talented.

HOLY SHITE. Full-body goosebumps at 0:18 .. news I've been waiting like eternities for: "You're playing Distillers songs in your set ..." Distillers set the bar and completely ruined me for anything less.

I like Brody and all but even I'll admit she was acting very unprofessional in this interview. Chewing gum is one thing but I wasn't impressed with how blunt she answered the questions. Not to mention it's clear she looks very uninterested with what the person is asking her

She only had a very, very short period of not quite getting 'the Californian drawl' right-- and she'd only been in the country for about a year and a bit. I've never heard of any 19 year old being able to lose an Australian accent that totally, that swiftly. I'd be genuinely interested to know why she put such work into completely changing her speaking voice. I'm sure she has a fascinating and understandable reason. Perhaps she didn't want to spend her whole life being asked questions about Australia and feeling like an outsider for her entire life as an ex-pat? If so, that would make perfect sense.
