When people think of Accrington, they think of Accrington Stanley but before them there was a team simply called Accrington F.C. who were founding members of the Football League in 1888.

Thanks for watching all the way from Spain. Notts County are the oldest professional football club in the world. The oldest club is Sheffield F.C. followed by Hallam F.C. both still exist.
