There’s a massive difference between fortune telling and spiritualism. Some people think it’s the same thing. However spiritualism in Islam is practicing takwa and completing Sufism. Fortune telling is a bit more about looking into the future of specifics such as relationships and marriage which is most peoples concerns. This is because some people think the be all and end all of this world is to find a life partner instead of prioritising a career prior to marriage or relationships. You could say this is embedded in to the Islamic culture of arranged marriages as some parents believe they should marry their children off at 16-18. This is way too young for anyone to be having a serious relationship without actually experiencing what life has to offer in itself such as travelling the globe and embracing diversity.

@@imediatv Welcome to my show! So in spiritualism it’s more learning about nature synchronicities, energy levels, vibrations and frequencies. Once you’ve mastered the art of knowing your own energy levels, you can then sense other energy and communicate with the present energy coming to seek you out (spirits). This is done by knowing your own intuition and who you are and what your purpose is in this world. So accepting your faults and being accountable for the mistakes you’ve made in life. This is how you’ll grow as a person. Practicing spiritualism in Islam isn’t as easy as it rolls off my tongue. I just make it sound easy to practice.

What a fuqin joke! Haha… In the 21st century most things are predictable when you’re educated. We live in a systemic world of people who have an array of cognitive behaviours that have been studied on a mass scale. What I mean by this is that some outcomes to certain situations are very predictable especially if you do not lack basic knowledge and logic.

Erm… it’s the first time I’m seeing this sidekick of yours who also is a pessimist. When you’re analysing families and assessing the situation they are currently facing why are you not looking at the impact this has on the mental health? Why are you not doing your assessments according to the scientific impacts this would have on the body, mind and soul? What is the wider impact when you analyse this situation? Is it because you’re not looking at things holistically?

What about if your a survivor of domestic abuse, adultery, then you go through a divorce. Was all this destined by Allah (SWT)? Also you worry about being alone now in your old age as a result of all of this

Alhamdulillah u said u are a survivor (meaning u are not into it anymore)so now that u agree on yes u are alone
It a sign that Allah is now telling u dat is between u and Him(Allah) now
So seek alot of istigfar for your past and remember that Allah forgive all sins as far as u didn’t die doing them
And don’t let yourself bordering about the past think of the feature no matter how short u see it
      May Allah grant us mercy

@@YahayaAbubakarusman forgiveness for what? My ex beat me and gave me black eyes. He was verbally abusive and used to curse and swear at me publicly then he had other women on the side. He cheated on me when I was 8 months pregnant? I’m not saying I’m perfect but I did nothing wrong in that marriage. I have government and police reports to prove it. I had the authorities on my side. Why do I need to pray for forgiveness for someone else’s bad behaviour. This is what I hate is men interpreting what ‘they think’ a women should do and further patronise her by telling to ask for forgiveness, I was not the one that persecuted another. Isn’t that what’s mentioned in Islam? ‘Beware of the prayers of those you have persecuted?’ (Words to that affect) I have nothing to reproach myself for. I hope he rotts in hell with his dead parents who also caused myself and others (including their own children) so much pain. They and him are and were just Evil people.

So if the angels are sending someone to you who have some information for you, you think they should give you it for free? Your theories don’t make sense. You sit there mocking the very people that have been spiritually awoken. Mufti Menk you are not spiritually awoken as you cannot see the angelic system created by Allah. The angels will bring people in and out of your life who have the information you need crucial to you at that moment in time. Nothing is of coincidence you meet people for a reason wether that’s just to pass on some advice or just a basic Sunnah of a smile they needed to help them through their difficult day. Mufti Menk you always seem to piss me off with your narrow minded perspectives.

oh stop he just trying he best ..he means no harm .. he is just trying to do what he feels is best .... just see the good and leave the bad ..all the best i tell fortunes all the time lol! but its also good not to think too deep on these things ... and dont blame destiny for misdeeds etc if we intend things nicely its ok

@@silverkitty2503 I seen the funny side in this but he’s probably made more than $5 just posting this video and mocking the person he refused to give $5. Which to me seems really unfair. Who knows why this person was pushing for the $5. I’m sure $5 wouldn’t have broke the persons bank. In fact I would have given the guy $5 as sadka and listen to what he had to say and moved on. Some people don’t have anyone that visits them or listens to them. Paying someone some attention for a couple of minutes may have brought to light other issues this person was experiencing. Especially if you think you’re intelligent and are able to assess people. I’m a spiritualist and can sense people’s past traumas especially those who have been victims to sexual abuse. So in my duty of being a spiritualist it’s about mending people’s past traumas and helping them overcome the mental health they’re experiencing. Helping them to learn that the world is still a safe place with kind hearted people. Helping them to switch their mindset away from the demonic system and focus on the angelic system. It’s not easy mentoring people who have very low self esteem and little hope and faith in their future.

Have you ever thought that perhaps these people/some are brought into our lives to test us? To test our faith and strengthen it as a result? I’ve had a fortune teller trying to get me to pay for a reading and I’ve been so tempted. I’ve looked on here and found my answer. I wanted to know the Islamic perspective because at the end of the day I am a Muslim who try’s to live within the precepts of Islam (I’m not perfect but I try my best to live to to the deen) No one can tell the future apart from Allah SWT. I really would not want to upset Allah SWT either.

The truth is no one truly knows. These scholars all claim they know but no one knows - not until we die anyway. We can all sit and debate but Wel never have the proven answers we want. I Belive just be good person and don’t hurt anyone. It’s actions, actions, actions - they speak louder than any cleric, any mulla and any man
