Loose most of the music and just use the live sailing sounds especially if it is just wind and water. It's a great design let it speak for itself just fill in the technical side and cosmetic options. A lot of Americans don't tend to get Euro design aesthetics unless they have lived with them previously... and they need to see and hear about the options... Meantime you will need to keep up with motor, battery and solar tech. Because the whole field is evolving so fast ... and the insurance and safety field is being used as a stick to fend off the shift from the whole Fossil fuel direct ICE diesel tech based and Carbon and GRP materials production base. 🤔
Awesome boat. For me there were 2 design elements she won on: #1 protected forward helm layout is best-in-class - completely transforms the sailing experience and declutters the living area aft #2 going all-in on electric - integrated solar/hydro with twin electric shaft-drives (with back-up genset) - means the boat is clean, silent and as independent as one can possibly be IMO both of these features will become standard for performance catamarans over the next 5 years. The Windelo team deserve this award for pioneering these two features 5 years ago and building everything around them. They have a 5 year head-start on the other performance catamarans, but you can already see HH and others following. Full disclosure: we put in an order for one 8 months ago after doing very extensive comparison to the rest of the field. I can also say Stephane, who runs their sales team, is a pleasure to work with.
Do you have a UA-cam channel? Would love to see content from a couple that owns this boat. What do you think the all-in cost will be on this type of thing once you get it fitted out if you don’t mind me asking. $2 million?

This boat is just like every other catamaran. Unless you say what's different it's just a ride out in open water. You say it's eco friendly, HOW? WHY? You have wasted my time to watch this video. Someone in marketing better get their job figured out, and soon. I did notice one thing though. Sit at the helm facing forward and you can't reach the wheel. Sit facing sideways and you can't see the information monitor. Great design folks, NOT!
As the title of this video indicates, this is the teaser for our complete test of this catamaran, to be published in our next Special Issue #22 Forever Green. Feeling a little frustrated? Have you not understood the eco-responsible commitment of this new model? Well, you will read this essay carefully!
If your really that frustrated just search for the other 20+ reports on these unique boats ...listen and watch other people sail them and move their heads. Then visit the factory web site for all the features - material and technical that make these vessels unique ...but you probably have heard that the hulls are made of Basalt rock fiber and recycled PET plastic. 🧙🏼♂️🇬🇧
Proud to represent Windelo as the exclusive dealer!

It's a very good boat, but I only care about aluminum cats. Fiberglass is not safe during a thunderstorm; only metal boats are lightning-proof.

Technically great, but furnishings and butt scoop beds- yuk!
