Axle-back systems will be perfect for you then! Changing out the factory muffler will give you the added volume and tone, but leaving the factory resonator will keep things from being too crazy! -Zach

But what does this sound like on the 2.0’s???? Been watching this for a while but can’t find any rough country exhaust on a new 21’ Willy’s jlu 2.0 to see if it is even worth putting it on? Rough country said I could buy it and try it and if it wasn’t good return it. That sounds like a lot of work to try it.
This specific exhaust system would not fit your JLU 2.0L since this kit is specifically for JK models, so please make sure you go to the appropriate page on-site when time comes to order! Item J142287-JL is what you're looking for. The only video I found of this exhaust on a 2.0L is posted below. If you want a better idea of what kind of sounds you'll get out of your 2.0L with an aftermarket exhaust I would look at videos of the 2.0L with a muffler delete. This Rough Country system won't sound nearly as raw as a straight muffler delete, but what you will get is a similar tone, less drone and lower volume while still being louder than stock PLUS having the dual tips. Hope this helps. -Zach ua-cam.com/video/1XeWctXodro/v-deo.html
Yep! You should still check your local laws and regulations, but this axle-back exhaust will not alter any sort of emission control devices on your Wrangler. It will only make sound better! -Zach

This is exactly what I’m looking for. An aggressive look but not too loud to wake up or alert my neighbors whenever I’m driving.

Any difference in gas mileage? I already have crap mileage at 13mpg, don't want it to go any lower.
Not sure on the exact number, but this will help by getting rid of some restriction from the factory muffler!
@Westcoastrocksduh lifted, larger and wider tires, mostly local driving, very little highway time, and the biggest culprit is I have to idle often
Anyone else find it extremely loud when the doors are off the jeep? Trying to see if its an install issue or just something I need to get use to?
Does it work with the factory trailer hitch?
Yes, this will work with the factory hitch installed!
Does muffler sit up higher on jeep than factory one ? Im looking for more clearance for off road.
It does! And its smaller than the factory one! -Zach
This is legal in US STATES ?

Can I change the tip to a dual tip ? If so would it damage anything
You certainly can modify this exhaust further by adding a different tip. It shouldn't damage anything as long as you're getting the right size inlet!
Who has an exhaust rubber grommet removal tool?
Not everyone, but they're pretty affordable at the local auto parts store!
Stainless steel won't rust
Depends on the grade of stainless. Stainless Steel can definitely rust.
Even the best SS can rust under certain conditions.
