Looking really good , will be very impressive when you add the next 30 to them and one day I will work up the courage to tackle painting the Persians, with there varied and colourful outfits
Excellent work, nice to see someone else trying Persians. Your efforts are far superior to my own humble efforts. What rules are you going to use? I've tried Hail Caesar, Sword & Spear, and L'Art de la Guerre, managing to get "clobbered" by Greeks/Macedon opponents in all three! 😂😂😂😂 (Let's not discuss whether ancient Macedonia was Greek . . . or more correctly Dorian or Ionian). Apart from the Immortals, I didn't try for conformity, but did try to keep the uniform designs simple. I've seen gloriously painted individual Persian figures that sadly look like a complete mess ("dogs breakfast") when put together in units. Anyway, great work and very enjoyable video. Cheers.
Cheers mate. I think I'll use hail Caesar for now. As for the clobbering at least it's historically accurate lol. I agree with individuals painted not looking good as a unit, there's something about the human eye likes uniformity. Thanks for the comments 😊
Very nice models. I am very happy that I found your chanel 👍
Always glad to see Persians...Truly beautiful, cracking job!👍
Thank you! They are a joy to paint to be fair!
Very nice indeed. Love the elephants, they look great. The army is going to look spectacular when it’s finished.
Thanks mate. It's been an enjoyable project so far!
Lovely work, and already you should be proud of how many you've done so far. They look fantastic.
