I also live in Tampa and they tried to up our rent by $300 a month when we renewed our lease this year. We made a letter on Ai (lol) and asked them to keep our rent the same. We said how we always pay our rent on time and how some surrounding apartments are less. We ended with saying if they are not able to keep our rent the same we will reconsider resigning. And they kept our rent the same!! just an idea :) I know the rent here is getting CRAZY!!
the coffee table works in your space but i could also see a round light wood to bring other neutral tones out that you have already. or something to balance out the new bookshelves!

Love how everything is coming together. I love the big windows do you have blinds? I think you should go with a round coffee table because I feel that one is just to small for the area or not have one at all and get like a ottoman. I loved the rug but I agree not for the entry way. Can't wait to see the new livingroom rug and the bookcase.
I just can understand why these young influencers move each yr It’s not sustainable and not healthy Try getting a rent control apt. I know young people who live in one and they hsve bern there for several years
i am young and in my twenties. this is the time in my life when im not tied down to anyone or anything. I have the flexibility and freedom with my job to do it anywhere i want to, which im so thankful for. So im going to take advantage of this time in my life and do what I WANT to do. Every place i go, i learn so much about myself, about others, about the world, etc. I don't understand what's unhealthy about that.
Rent controlled apartments are next to non existent at this point…best you can hope for is that they don’t raise it too much. In my experience most places would rather you leave so they can jack the prices up even further for a new tenant

Not sure about Florida, but here in socal, rent control is not in newer construction...it's only for buildings built before the 1960s
