I have literally works at a dozen jobs in the past that had “Closed” signs, for all the exact reasons Rana mentioned. It’s like…the entirety of the retail industry 101.
This episode is about the 2008 bank crisis. They ran the business into the ground with stupidity and fraud. Then paid themselves bonuses with the bailout money and went back to business as usual.
Let me tell you, 2009 was a great year to graduate college. My degree (computer science) and all the certifications I spent time and money earning (CCNA, A+, Network+, and 1 or 2 others I can’t remember the names of) were absolutely worthless because there were virtually zero job openings (and the few that did exist required 5+ years experience and paid entry-level salaries), yay! And by the time the economy had recovered to the point that they would have actually been worth something, the certifications were all expired and my degree was more-or-less outdated (and since I had no relevant work experience 3+ years after graduating, I couldn’t get so much as an interview), woohoo! Which means all that time and money spent in college was literally a complete and total waste of time, hooray!
Frank was Government? , Mac and Dennis are incompetent Banking CEOs, who got bailed out and had no repercussions and Charlie and Dee are the workers, who got screwed the most
Driving Paddy's into the ground is not what caused Frank to lose all his money. The bailout came from his other businesses/investments.

Uncle Jack becomes such a good recurring character lol, now he’s just creepy but the dude turns into such a hilarious side character and the actor Andrew Friedman is so good.

This cold open is my favorite Always Sunny cut to an insane thing happening off-screen. It took them that long to pull their heads out of their preoccupation and notice Frank. And Dee said nothing about it until they brought it up.

The reason that fish enviroment matters so much is that aquatic food webs are complex. An Herbivore like a deer, eats 90% plants. An herbivorous fish like a carp, eats algae and all kinds of plankton, so it's already at step two or three on the food web while the deer is at 1. So this lets a lot of stuff bio accumulate in fish, making them have higher concentration of pollutants found in thee environment.

I actually have a theory that it was in fact not Uncle Jack. Jack does like Charlie like that, but it was not him, that's probably why he's insecure about his hands not being good looking because Charlie likes that about the Nightman.
