    I'm from Valley Head born n raised. We used to ride 4-wheelers up there. Was once one of the most populated towns in Alabama. I live in Mentone now. Also, it is now PRIVATE PROPERTY!! SORRY TO BURST ANYONE'S ADVENTURE. YOU MAY GET ARRESTED OR WORSE. There is a lease hunting club that owns the property and/or their associates. If you're not PERMITTED, don't go looking. I'm sorry, just passing this forward. I took my wife and son up for a ride a few years ago, ran into a fella that knew my dad, said they didn't have the rights anymore. So idk who to actually contact. He warned me and asked to tell others. Everything around it is a Game Reserve.... i.e. Stray Bullets for one. Fort Payne, AL has a festival called "Boom Days". Around the time that everything was growing more Efficient (industrialized), this town became less populated and less than 200 years and it now looks like ancient ruins. My GRANDMOTHER-IN-LAW WAS BORN THERE!! She said she remembers the Commissary Store 🥲 Frickin' neat. My Papaw's and Randy Owen's Dad's were brothers. Them Ol Boys kept the blood flowing in these hills after that town became history. But, not only this location...there's more if you wanna get in touch and plan an "expedition" I'd be interested. Where we live now, was Actually a Town called Nightingale 😅 crazy. Our neighbor's house is where the Post Office was. We're all roommates on the same planet. It's absolutely incredible how we just move forward over a couple generations and forget...sometimes, important lessons and/ or values that are positive. Either way, thank you for posting this video.

      About 4 months ago I went to the town on a mission to find it. I think I was close , but didn’t know exactly where to stop and begin searching. Went back to the town and asked the people in the post office, nothing. Went to (I can’t remember) another government office. The lady working had no idea. There was and old man just sitting in the office and he gave me a whole story about the land. Said after the owner died, the family was in a big battle with 2 separate lawyers over it for years. No one had been allowed to go on that property for a long time. It was a huge mess through the court system. He didn’t know how it ended up. It was weird. No one actually knew how to get there just a few miles away, and the older gentleman telling me the story basically said its like Area 51. I was probably wasting my time. It’s an entire ghost town that no one can go to. Only one dirt road somewhere to get to it. I was very disappointed to say the least, but I knew to give up on that one. Such a weird story and a-shame it’s just sitting there for no one to see. Such an incredible place it seems. Thank you for the comment 🙏

      @ourmeltedreality8731 I grew up in Oshkosh Wisconsin, which was recently covered by My Lunch Break due to its old world structures. I've been thinking something is not right my whole life, including the "moon landings". My whole family thinks I'm crazy but that's OK.

      It's right next to the railroad 😅... it kinda pops up out of nowhere literally lol, you notice a rock wall on the right... about the time the RR tracks get more visible on the left. Then.....😮 It's like one of those movies 😂 when we were kids....some magical ruins in the forest with a mystery. Turns out, it was a Big Foundry that used to load Trains and had a whole little town around it.

    Seems like a lot of dirt got hauled up there then bulldozed into place to cover up the structures. Trees seeded themselves in there, or perhaps they were even planted. The structures may have even been built by the controllers to produce something, then the production was discontinued when they had what they wanted. Whatever the story is, I'm sure it's also unfortunate.

    Good stuff here💎. I often wonder what the average collapse ratio was when the X factor happened. Like did a 1,000 ft structure typically melt down and collapse to become a 300 ft tall pile of debris eventually turning into a “mountain”?

    • @mayb.wright509

      I like your thinking. I have a photo that my father took in the Valley of Fire (AZ?). A whole bunch of hills "sculpted by wind," according to the geology narrative. No way. They look like piles of pancakes, actually collapsed structures precisely as you describe. Blessings from Canada.

    The horrible evils that man is capable of have been revealed to me in my life, and there's nothing new under the sun.
    Whatever beliefs one has matters not.
    Whether one believes this cataclysm was by the hand of man, or by the hand of God, matters not.
    We did it to ourselves.

    They would have had to hump in every last stack of bricks, wood, mortar, nails, steel, the furnace itself, and then back out again according to the narrative. With no roads.

    I’ve been “mountain” climbing near that area. If I’d known that was there I would have went and checked it out. Maybe that is what dirt is, everything turning to dust and with the environmental factors it turns into a dirt consistency. And they sent it to a country outside the USA like all the other old world artifacts and structures… Thanks

    • @ourmeltedreality8731
      @ourmeltedreality8731  10 місяців тому +1

      Coke Oven: A chamber of brick or other heat-resistant material in which coal is heated to separate the coal gas, coal water, and tar. The coal gas and coal water fuse together with carbon and the remaining ash, forming a hard residue commonly referred to as coke. Coke is primarily used in steel production.
      That’s the standard definition

  • @m.scholl1001
    @m.scholl1001 9 місяців тому

    You can tell how old they are by the trees, they have to be at least as old as the tree growing on top, one of the trees looks like it has 200 rings and is maybe 200 years old.

  • @Mr53gil
    @Mr53gil 10 місяців тому +4

    Questions you should ask yourself. First where is the brick works that made the bricks? How did they get there? Looking at the trees, why are there no 200 year old or older trees in the woods? It very hard to find trees that are very old, so did someone or ones come along and cut down all of the trees every were at the same time? When the people came to America they found cities all over the place, so they asked the native people about them and were told that it was all here when their ancestors came. The coke ovens story is just that a story to stop people from asking questions. Near me in NW Al. there is a small river that runs for some 30 mile in a straight line. This is not of nature and no one can explain it. I call it what it was a canal.
