@@spencerboddie8582 that’s great news. You’re welcome. Make sure you use a good synthetic 2 cycle oil mixed to 32:1 and you will never smoke another crank.
friend thanks excellent video. I have a question, how is the crankshaft sealing with respect to the clutch oil? since I can't see an oring in the bushing that makes the seal, only a retainer and the bushing on the crankshaft. Thank you, greetings from Medellín-Colombia.
I’m almost finished with the process got everything taken apart except for the magneto off, I’m waiting on that tool now
Should be ready to go after that!
Got the new crank in but I’m having trouble getting my cases to go back together

I got my cases together now, your video really helped out a lot replacing my crank. Thanks for all the help and feedback too🫡

Thank you. Go to 7:22 in the video where I install the transmission side oil seal
@@restoroosterohv Yes friend, the only thing I see is the retainer, do you only have that retainer? I appreciate your response, thank you.
@@davidcaos8474 That is the right side crankshaft seal
@@restoroosterohv thanks bro
How's it hold up? Heard a lot of negative reviews on wiesco cranks being made with plastic and tin.
I sold the bike a while back so I have no longevity updates for you but it was a Hot Rods crank. Wiseco used to be a quality aftermarket replacement.
Is this process the same as a 2002 cr125r? I already bought the hotrods crank kit.
While there may be some minor differences in specs between the pistons and cylinders, the procedure remains the same
@@MrPetRooster thank you, I’ll be back to let you know how it goes after my crank installer and case splitter comes in.
@@spencerboddie8582 yeah man, just take your time
@@restoroosterohv will do🫡
I would really need to take my time, and the right tools for the job. Done tops ends. Fixed cars. Just looks a bit much putting it back together....
...and a good service manual.
