I got a 10-15 y.o. 13'x 9' Cabin tent from my uncle's estate....not Instant tent. Says 6 person. How similar is it to the video re: setup. Are all Cabin tents similar?
The poles are aluminum, and in a pile with 100 other poles. Any hnts on identifying poles for this or is it just a big puzzle?
Maybe i don't have the right poles...the ones in the video have the shock cord assembly...my pole stash has nothing like that.
Can I buy poles? What do i need to know?
@@ccaissie113 Unfortunately, I'm not sure I can help you here. I'd suggest contacting the manufacturer's customer support and see if they can either help you identify the dimensions for which poles you need, or send you new ones.

It's 11:14 pm and I'm n cocoa beach Florida ⛱. I just leveled and grated the dirt n my yard, and now I am about to pull the cabin out of the bag. Hope its as easy as u made it look. A lot easier then the instructions. I'm just glad it doesn't have a bunch of pieces. I put together a shelving unit last night and it took me hours. Any who, i bought this ⛺ because in the last few recent months I have started "prepping." Well, I originally bought a shade screen from Wal-Mart, enclosed, front and back entrance, so that I have shade, mosquito protection, and most of all, 🌧 🌦 🌂 protection while I am setting up my supplies. Needless 2 say, it was not rain proof and all that I had sitting out under it got wet while i was not home, soooooooo...finally, as i was down the camping n survival aisle at Wal-Mart, low n behold they had this cabin. 1 only. 196 bucks, I grabbed it immediately, 20 bucks more than that puney screen house I bought 2 months ago for 172. So I am stoked to see how this will look shortly. I'm sitting on 2 acres, 1 acre n backyard, so plenty of room to organize and sit down in the shade and relax. Again thx so much 4 an awesome video. Short n sweet, very informative. Look forward to watching n learning more from this channel.

@@darrellintents3086 I'm n the ⛺ right now. I have a question though, I put a heavy duty tarp underneath it, no I didn't put holes in it, should I have? When it rained though, the water 💧 stayed under the tent..do I poke holes, or should I remove the tarp ? Thx 4 the response 👍
@@infj7776 is the tarp larger than the footprint of the tent?
Typically, when you put the tent on top of the tarp, you want the tarp smaller (about 6” to 3” on all sides) than the floor of the tent. That way you don’t see the tarp. If you can see the tarp, when the tent is on it, the tarp will serve like a rain catcher... not good.
So, to answer your question, if your tarp is smaller than your tent floor you shouldn’t need to put holes in the tarp. I never have.

Hi, yes, you can put it up by yourself. Yes, all windows zip up. As to Nov in NE, I think that’s more of a sleeping bag issue than a tent issue.

Ha! I had set that tent up on 2 other occasions but it has been a couple of years! Apparently, I'd forgotten a couple of things! Ugh
