    Our daughter moved back home after college and at first she felt like a failure but we are happy that she is saving her money! She has a good savings now for a decent car or a downpayment on a house. If you have a good relationship with your family and they want to help you jumpstart your savings, don't feel ashamed - it's smart. Don;t even worry bout what other people are doing.

    I would say as a recommendation, stay with your parents to save money and grind, but do not take things for granted. Once you move out, you're independent and you have to take that responsibility of your own life and choices and the world is an unforgiving place. The world teaches you. It's also good to prepare than run out in the wild, but people are born in different circumstances. Be mindful and careful out the world. It's a real jungle out there and the internet/social media

    People will always criticize you no matter what. I wish I would have been better prepared before moving out.

    I’m 35 and moving across country back to my dad’s house. I went through a divorce recently and need to pay off debt and save up some money. I have a one year deadline and this time next year I won’t have any monthly payments except rent and my student loan. I’ll finally be able to save and invest every month instead of barely getting by. I’m paying off my car and medical and credit card debt

    Your message about people talking down to you, applies to a lot of different situations and for your whole entire life, I have come to the conclusion in my 60s that what it is, is jealousy.

    I stay it’s important to get out of your folks home now and again just so you know what it’s like. But I think it’s cool to stay at your folks and save and figure shit out. That’s what I’m doing

    I moved out at 17 and 21 for around 5 years it really taught me a lot about budgeting but I would say most importantly I’m thankful to be back with my parents to save for my first house because I don’t want to have to rent my whole life.

    I am almost 37 been living with my mom all my life. I went to college first in my family to graduate. I started working at the age of 31 at warehouses, now I drive a forklift love what I do there. I only pay her $300 a month I keep the rest to pay lil expenses I have. I am almost to 100,000 net worth overall. I have investments in stocks, crypto, retirement and real estate. I do plan on finally moving out next year because it's time to. So I am very grateful to live with her all this time and she allows me to save. Living with parent/s is a good thing if they allow u to save. Love ur vids too Reggie great advice u give.

    So in essence people move out so they can get respect from their parents.. its a crazy world we live in.. I stayed with my parents while my friends sold their blood. So they could pay rent while they laughed at me. I think it's bigger than just trying to flex or gain respect from people, Because you get nothing out of that.

      Different people have different reasons for moving out. For most, it’s independence. The sad part is, in today’s economy it’s tough to get out on your own. I can only speak from my experience and back when I did it, the economy was way different than it is now. Respect definitely comes with moving out and proving you can live without them, but I think it’s far from being the REASON they move out

    I'm 34 been living solo since 23 I'm a local truck driver so I make about 30 per hour I pay my bills but thinking about moving back so I can stack! If I never moved out and spend 10 years stacking wow!

      lol I’m 33 years old and work as a bank associate but you still make more than me per hour lol. I didn’t move out and was able to stack over $300k in cash very conservatively without the help of stocks. If I just took the calculated risks with investments I might have been a millionaire lol.

    Move out from my parents house is a big goals for me. I'm able to afford it but at some point I'm still a bit afraid for the journey ahead.
    My parents house isn't a good place to grow, we never going to a better direction of life. Since my early 20's i constantly feel uncomfortable with my family perspective. Rn, I'm collecting my courage to move out.

      Hope it goes well for you I’m also wanting to move out it’s for my own mental health. I feel like just living in a toxic place makes it harder for you to grow. One day you just got to wake up like I HAVE TO MOVE FORWARD and one day just leave and be on your own for you to grow YOU GOT THIS

    75k a year at 25? What was his major and job???

    • @ReggieBryant
      @ReggieBryant  Рік тому +10

      I’m not sure what his job and major was but it’s very possible and doable nowadays. I think it’s extremely important for anyone who wants to further their education to understand the job market and what types of jobs pay well and you can land a solid paying job
