My granny passed 10yrs ago and the whole time I was eating it, I was saying “yes” granny this one for you! ❤️
Love to watch when you make everything, but this salad.....heaven!!!! Here is what I do! I use red onion sliced very very thin. It's excellent in this. I also sprinkle FETA cheese on. I literally make this salad mix every week. It goes with everything.

I love salads like these....reminds me of the classic Jewish deli marinated veggie salads: Cabbage, tomatoes, onion, carrot, etc. marinated in a vinegar/sugar/salty brine. Tasty and so refreshing, especially with rich, fatty foods! Also: Fridge pickles!!
I made this today and it was a pleasure to know how to make this dish! I am going to have it for dinner tonight with the salmon patties I made last night from Gina's receipe. Watching her videos make you want to make the dish.
This salad is great, I add 2 cans of three bean salad and just add some sugar and mix all together. It's a great variation of this recipe. I also like to your grape tomatoes, or artisan tomatoes.
This is totally one of my favorite types of salad, probably because cucumbers are one of my favorite foods. I don't really cook, but this is something I would be able to make with stuff I actually have in the kitchen. Glad I clicked!
My momma used to make this when I was a kid. She'd make it day before or morning of so everything had a way of coming together just right. Sometimes she'd put in a bell pepper too. The pepper took a bit longer to take hold of the flavor but was still awesome. I think she might have used apple cider vinegar more than white but I'm sooooo happy to come across your channel and this recipe. Great recipé. I prepare my cucumber, tomato and onion salad the same way, but I always remove the cucumber skins because a lot of people wont eat it.
