Maybe it's that technique where you press the strings hard enough to make a sound. I think they call it "hammer on", but I'm not sure. Still, the way everyone plays their instruments is my fav part of this video lol

I've never had an emotional response to a musician's passing. But, Mike "Beard Man" Taylor's passing has hurt me more than I ever would have thought.
