Great video with good information for people like me that never went there, but who are planning our next vacation. Thank you for sharing your experience
Great video, but honestly, I feel so overwhelmed! Going in June 2024 for my son's wedding. It's our first time going to Cancun and there will be a lot of us including the grandmas. This is making me muy, pero muy nerviosa!!!
Hi @susanklingenberg463 thank you so much for watching and the support. I totally get you, that's exactly how we felt when we went for the first time, but honestly, we had such an awesome time in Cancun! Congrats on your son's wedding. I actually went to Riviera Maya for my honeymoon in 2021. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about Cancun and the Riviera Maya.
@adaml2932 thank you for watching. I'm not a big fan of renting a car in Cancun either. I went through a bad experience as well. But the truth is that if you want to explore Cancun and the rest of the Riviera Maya, the best way to do so is by renting one. Public transportation and ride-sharing apps will cost you even more all around (not just financially speaking).
@adaml2932 is right...there are way too many Cancun car rental horror stories @hl4374. I also had a bad experience renting a car my first time in Cancun with Hertz inside the airport. The best advice I can give you is to read all the documents you're signing very carefully, don't let the salespeople get to your head, and ask questions multiple times question whatever they tell you. Lastly, just do a quick research online to see what car rental agencies have a decent review.
Excellent video, Milo! Very informative. A MUST watch for anyone traveling to Cancun 👍

@velmamartinez thank you for watching! 😊
My wife and I and Aunt and Uncle are going in April 5 . Staying at the Barcelo Grand . Ever stayed there ?
Hi @kylemerritt1545 thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I haven’t stayed there yet.
I disagree about the car rental. Ive heard horror stories and been told by locals not to do it. Too many vacations have been ruined.

What kind of horror stories?
@hl4374 lookup Google reviews Eurocar Cancun airport. That's just the start.
