I'm enamoured with this man, as i guess anyone else who has heard him would be?. I remember hearing cry me a river, wasn't my cuppa, gave him a go around 3 years ago again, and now i have Folk, blues and beyond as well as Midnight Man, i love both of them, not easy to find them either. I feel part of a little exclusive club listening to this genius. He makes me want to play the shit out of my mandolin and really tuck into it. His music awakens all of my chakras!, the skill that he had, oh my god...I'm 30 now, i wish he was still around, i'm kind of sad hes dead, and that there aren't more video interviews with him. I'm a lifelong fan now, there's no going back.

Thanks Spud! Much appreciate your comment and glad the interview with DG stuck a chord. He was a very special and rare individual who changed music in so many ways, and rarely got the credit he truly deserved. Davey wasn't in it for the fame and glory, he was in it for the music first and last, and it shows in his playing and endless interest in what could be done with the guitar. So many guitarists don't even realise how much he made possible.
Along with Bert he will always be a hero, and this interview helped to kick start what became Acoustic Routes.
