I agree with some of the recent posts. A deep sad and simultaneous excitement all in one. I usually do not like "live" stuff usually, however Bjork does some amazing stuff and this one is one that I could play over and over in my mind - the choice of wardrobe, the simple yet distinct facial color add to the whole feeling. Her sultry and seductive dancing with her silhouette visible while her voice and the accompanying music - it just makes for an amazing heart tugging emotional performance imo.
björk and imogen heap are my two favorite female artists they have different styles but i love the fact that they mix electronics with acoustics, it's a brilliant combination
What an enchanting performance of a great song One of those videos that you enjoy on such an abstract level that you're left with so few words after it ends
when all the planets in the solar system aline themselves with the sun, an unworldy masterpiece like Homogenic manages to surface: inspired, inspiring, and thoroughly perfect. perhaps the most important album ever to reach my ears...
Dan Osterhout Last year I was watching a Thom Yorke interview where he mentioned her as 1 of his favourite artists and after that i looked up 'It' Oh So Quiet'. Been obsessed with her ever since.
I think it's cool how things happen like that! How I discovered her for the 2nd time was Ricardo Lopez documentary showed up on here, I typed in Bjork and Human Behaviour it was! Still addicted to this day! She really don't even have to say a word and still she's amazing! 4:34
Dan Osterhout I'm yet to watch the Ricardo Lopez video cause i fear it'll be too traumatic for me. When i played 'Human Behaviour' for my friends they just didn't get it. It's a fantastic song but i guess Bjork is a bit of an acquired taste for most people.
this track and in particular live performance means so much to me, thank you bjork !!!!! this song surrounded me like a cocoon and i was able to sleep :') !!! thank you for uploading !!!
I bet that Björk, Tori Amos, and Kate Bush were sent to us by the music gods. These kinds of musicians only come once every 1000 years. We are very, very lucky.
Funny, I remember her remarking in an interview how this song was originally recorded with strings. She took a listen and decided she wanted a glass harmonica instead, to keep the'Homogenic' tracks from sounding too much alike. The she adds them back during the live shows.
:) I like to know that I'm not the only person in the world that thinks Bjork is magical grapefruit. Homogenic is Awesome!!! It's like swiming in a womb. The beats, the lyrics...*sigh*...Amazing.
Just read the lyrics over a few more times ( always loved this song ) and it totally dawned on me. The lyrics could be interpreted as if she's talking about ALIENS!!!! lol seriously .... Read them.
See Bjork live in concert: One of the things I want to do before I die.
did u do it?
looks like he didn’t make it ! God rest his soul.
it's improv and she wrote the lyrics - she hardly forgot them! artists like Björk always state that their music evolves as they tour and play live.
I adore Björk for being spontaneous on stage. Her "sweathearts" are everything

1:48 - 2:10 = MAGIC , it makes me chills
What an enchanting performance of a great song
One of those videos that you enjoy on such an abstract level that you're left with so few words after it ends
those strings at the end are divine

She is Magick!
Love it. My fav. Album Homogenic
man i have been listening to this live on yt for years.... so many many years....and it still hits every time. every time. ;___;
i get chills listening to the songs i've heard over and over on album, just watching live performances like this one.
it's not uncommon for me to cry watching a live performance by bjork but this was especially stirring
Same here
how could i not have noticed what a wonderful song it was... and this version is still more amazing...
björk is the best...
She is such an inspiration.
I love this version.
I love this!! And Bjork is the only music that I listen to!!!
Dan Osterhout She's something else. Her music is out of this world.
AMAZING! And to think I turned the channel in 1993 when "It's oh so quiet" came on. and I didn't discover her again until September 2016!

Ella y su mùsica.... hipnotizante....!!!
MIND-BLOWING
Live in Cambridge is my favorite live show!
Still love this! Awesome, wish the strings had made it onto the album version.
It's better this way! We get both 😊
Always loved how the strings come in at the last in this live version, should have been like this studio.
I bet that Björk, Tori Amos, and Kate Bush were sent to us by the music gods. These kinds of musicians only come once every 1000 years. We are very, very lucky.
one of my favourite songs of hers. the lyrics are gorgeous!!
it's funny how Bjork always seems to put a smile on my face. amazing performance coming from an amazing artist.
simply beautiful.
Wonderful (as she always is) but I missed the amazing beats on the album's version.
But wonderful, no doubt.
Thuis version blows my mind
Captivating
Me emociona mucho este concierto 😃💕😘😍
don’t get angry with yourself, i’ll heal you.
I wish the album version sounded like this.
My Favorite Song. It's perfect, both versions.
I like this version more than the original almost!

Björk's master piece !!!!
She's an Earth Angel. My Saga Queen.
siempre olvida las letras aún asi la amamos ♥♥
AMOO essa maravilhosa ❤❤
Soothing !
i can't agree more!!!
homogenic is everything. it embodies all genres of music. :)
so beautiful :')
PERFECT
I'll weave for you the marvellous web, glow in the dark threads all neon like.
:) I like to know that I'm not the only person in the world that thinks Bjork is magical grapefruit.
Homogenic is Awesome!!! It's like swiming in a womb. The beats, the lyrics...*sigh*...Amazing.
me encanta!!!!
@polarbear2105 Yes, whole Björk's music is sublime.
It's a little sad she doesn't make songs like this anymore, or the ones like her first 3 albums.
i know what you mean. she's become way too experimental for me now. there's gotta be a balance, aye.
Take some member berries.
yeah, it's so sad that she's not a sell out who overuse the same style to sell shit, I'm crying so sad sad sad lol
Debut post homogenic vespertine and few other songs, then her music became bit boring, i agree with u
It's so lucky she has full artistic control, so that she can let her creativity run free without paying heed to any of you.
haha, nice connection dude. ;)
One gigantic space song...
Highkey better than the studio version
trop mimi quand elle court à 2:12
Just read the lyrics over a few more times ( always loved this song ) and it totally dawned on me. The lyrics could be interpreted as if she's talking about ALIENS!!!! lol seriously .... Read them.
I always thought she was talking about aliens
@HAADOOKEN What about Vespertine?
What in the world is "Henh-yeah"?
Bjork you feel the music *0* i love you... make me your o///o
I don't know the 2 versions....
tome chi chi
It switches over in Play Dead doesn't it?
"Like"
She forgot the lyrics, it starts with "Not till you halo all over me"
To hell with Lady Gaga! She actually copied Bjork and she's not as good as her. Bjork is the artist and the very BEST SINGER!
who asked
:P Yeah, she's got a nice body.
ouuu. this is scary. her dancing backwards and the whole song.
I honestly don't wanna listen to this ghostsong.
ah, musical genius disguised in a somewhat
attractive female container...thigh? body?
