- Sunday's snowstorm brought several inches of much-needed snow to most of Colorado, including the East Troublesome and Cameron Peak fires, on Sunday. The storm is expected to continue into Monday.
So happy they got snow!! They needed it to take those fires down!

I know someone fighting the Cameron Peak Fire, he sent me photos of the crew of Miller timber celebrating in the snow after fighting in multiple states this year, he is from Oregon

How does god pick a side? Why didn't god answer their prayers and extend fire season for longer so they can feed their families. Everyone forgets wildland firefighters never ever want the fires to end. I was going to go hiking near Estes park on Saturday before the snow was supposed to hit. As I was driving over I saw a lot of fire trucks and the area I was going to hike was closed off. I was confused and came home to find out about the new fires. So crazy and awful, I’m glad we got snow.
So snow and ice won over fire.
I love how every other day this week there were accidents and today with snow all day everyone drove normally.

Lol as someone who lives in Grand County, one of the areas most impacted, beetlekill isn’t good for much at all. It can be decent firewood. Too thin and weathered to be much good for building. Wood chips? It’s just not cost effective, so no one goes after it for lumber. Leaves it up to government forestry crews. Know before you go!

we had snow earlier this year as well when the fires were going and after the snow all of a sudden they miraculously started again so I'm a true believer that arsene had a lot to do with what was going on but I can't prove it where were you outside to talk to since they think it was arson as well.
