I would have messed with him just a bit Ron, when he said "it smells like it could be an ice beer" I would say "yes it's a nice beer. ha-ha. Another fine taste challenge guys. Cheers.
Awesome video 😂I love it! He almost overthought it. I go between this, bud ice and Busch ice all the time. Love the ice beers and watching you review those everyday beers
I enjoy ice beers in general. Their heyday seems to have been the mid nineties, as there are fewer to be found these days. A rare treat is Mickey's Ice, which I found at a truck stop grocery outside Sacramento CA.
I decided to see if I could get those notes David described out of it. I was successful. If its really cold around 33-34 degrees. Straight in pour from the can. Boom, spot on description. Once it warms, it goes away. You still get that freezer burn taste though. "Ice Beer Funk" I guess that's how you determine if its a high ABV Ice Beer. See how much freezer burn comes through on it. Also has that strange sweetness with the freezer burn taste.
Or go to the A-B brewery in Williamsburg, VA. The only beer I ever see in 30-packs these days is Busch and, I guess, Busch Light. I don't buy light beers, though.
@@MetalRocker94 It's been a long time since I've seen any 15-packs; they may be in convenience stores a lot more often than in grocery stores. I'm not in a convenience store very often.
We are still under some sort of restriction on Best Ice ,which is better than the other alternative ices .....Keystone ice ,and Anheiser ice have been tried ......My wife didn't like them ...and that's the only test that matters 🤪🤪🤪🤕
The only ice beers that I can stand are Mickey's ice, Ice House and Bud Ice. I bet you could really trick him with a Mickey's Ice he won't even guess that it's in the ice beer category.

Ha-ha. Thanks, Ralph. Cheers, back to you!
That's funny!
I really appreciate how much of an intellectual quality you add to your reviews. Enjoying some natural ice right now. ✌️
Thanks, Mayor Haggar. And, I appreciate you watching!

I'm glad you liked it, Chris Wilson! Thanks for watching. I appreciate it!
really good David..... Well done. Love the beer
He'll be proud to hear this!
One of my go to beers for ice beer. Cheers
Same, here, and cheers, back to you.
Can't go wrong with a Natural ICE. 🍻
I agree. Thanks for watching, Michael Stevens. I appreciate it!
Nice job, David.
Agreed.

Right- the mid-1990s. Thanks for watching, Daniel Geary. I appreciate it!
David shows his prowess once again. Cheers gentlemen!
Right! Cheers, back to you!
The look in the glass is actually nice. If I ever get a beer like this I’m dedicating it to you guys.
Thanks, Tyler!
You gotta drink Natural Ice when its ice cold. When it starts to warm up thats a whole another story...
That's for sure.
I know what David is talking about on how it smells like an ice box or freezer. I get it. Lol
Okay, but I never detect that.

I'm glad to hear that you did this.
Dame he’s good 🤣 beard of knowledge 🤣🙌🏻
It was a good guess!
I used to drink that beer all the time and if you had me try that in a blind taste test it would be no problem for me to tell what it is.
I'm not sure I could do what you two can do!
wow, david is good. He said "Ice beer" right at the beginning/
Yeah, sometimes he really nails it.
I’ll have to pick some of this up. It’s got to be cheaper than bud light platinum.
16.99 a thirty pack round here ......great value ,and I put ice in my ice beer 🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
It sure is cheaper!

Sometimes you can get deals on 2 of the 15-packs for the 30-pack price.
I don't buy them, either.

@@Tenskwatawa4U Depends, just scout your area and other areas you travel to. No two places are exactly the same.
@@MetalRocker94 Thanks. When I'm interest in a 15-pack of some beer of marginal interest to me, I'll keep it in mind. ;)
Dave sure has an impressive palate!
He'll be glad to hear this!
natural ice is the perfect beer just the right ABV have a few and relax
I'm drinking one, right now.
@@ronaldtheriot cheers brother
It's not a bad beer, it's also not the top shelf, however it is a okay beer; it does it's job and it does it good.
I can't argue with that.
I think it’s better than Bud Ice.
Me, too.
I agree
Dave kinda resembled Rafa Nadal the tennis player wiping the sweat away as he does between every point

Yeah. Plus, he's never tried Mickey's Ice, which has never been sold in Louisiana, sad to say.
interesting
I'm glad you liked it.
Can’t stand natty ice! Keystone ice all the way.
I do prefer Keystone, but I've been finding good Natural Ice deals.
@@ronaldtheriot can’t argue with that..cheers buddy
What a guess, this was a fun watch. Natural Ice is a great ice beer, and a pretty good beer in general.
I'm glad you enjoyed this video.
Natty ice is damn good, just had it for the first time... love it.
I've enjoyed it, since 1996. Thanks for watching, TheChamberofchillz. I appreciate it.
