I gave IELTS exam 3 times before. Unfortunately, I got only band 5.5 in readings in all 3 exams. I have tired of doing this. I usually score above 10 in first passage but when I enter into the second passage, i feel so nerves. Please guide me how to deal with the second and third passage. 😞

I bought yesterday from Amazon IELTS academic 16 for 36 €. There is another book whick costs 49 € from the author: Cambridge Uniersity Press. Does that mean that I bought a fake book? How should I know that?
I took an mock listening test from ielts-up website and it deducts marks for using Capitalized words or using number system in words or so. It's very subjective and confusing the pattern. Is this how the real ielts computer based exams are?

Hi, i've been taking the ielts practice tests in their official website, while doing the cambridge books' exercises, and my marks change drastically. Do you know why is that so? I find the ielts website tests more difficult, and I don't know in which of them I should lean on.
(as soon as you register for the ielts, they show a platform where you can take ielts practice tests. I am doing the tests on this platform called GEL)

I have one question, source of my reading/listening practice consists of you tube, old volume 1-6 materials(2013) which are bit tough than others so that i do practice. But may they confuse me ??

Am I allowed to lie in the speaking? For example, “what’s the best place you’ve ever been?”
I’m not much of a traveler (Aka I barely leave my house) can I just lie about that if I can’t think of anything on the spot?
I can talk a lot and sometimes I end up lying on accident just to make my answer seem more.. appealing or less boring I guess
