The Good & The Beautiful 5th Grade Language Arts

Hi there! I've shared the language arts curriculum my daughter is using this year for 5th grade, but I wanted to share what an actual lesson looked like from The Good and The Beautiful language arts level 5. This is mostly an independent curriculum, but there is some parent involvement at this stage still. I hope you find this helpful to get a general idea of what is involved in a lesson and how long an average lesson takes.

We are using this level this year with my 10 year old, and I am very happy with it so far. We are only on lesson 8 though, so not to far in. We have added in Writing & Rhetoric and All about spelling a few times a week as well. Honestly I do feel this would be enough on it’s own.

Thanks for sharing if we continue homeschooling my son this seems like a good fit for him. We also have a different program for spelling and reading but I’ve been looking for something like this.

We use additional Grammer and spelling too. This up coming year is Spelling power, Fix it Grammer and we always have a abeka chapter reader going bc of the history and comp questions/ vocabulary. I make mine do all of the tgtb chapter regardless thou. 😂It's about impossible to get it all in one curriculum. Great video. Thanks! ❤😊🎉

No not necessarily…I’ll keep it with her for the next year or two maybe and then go from there
