Ohh for sure.... Visit Tagliacozzo , Celano , Near that little village that you where in Cocullo , it is a lake in ❤ shape named Lago di Scanno....and so much other places.... Abruzzo is the greenest region in Europe... 😊😊
Stumbled upon your video. We have family in Chieti (my husband has lived there) and are in process of purchasing tickets to visit. His Nonno worked in the Stiffe Caves. We also have family near Milano. Enjoyed watching and look forward to seeing more. A bonus is that you are Canadian as are we, Vancouver Island residents.
I'm from Abruzzo. this region is generally very quiet for retirees or for those who want to relax in nature. there is sea, mountains and small villages. and a cuisine focused mainly on meat
Hi Joe. I was just in Abruzzo for the first time in October! Loved it. Are there any town s or villages that you recommend to stay as a home base? We stayed in Chieti and Sulmona this time around. But I think I prefer a more village or small town feel. Keep posting. You are one of the reasons why we visited Abruzzo!! We are also from Canada…
Thanks amazing to hear! Chieti is really nice but haven't spent too much time there. I'd recommend Penne which is another smaller village but is so beautiful! There are also plenty of little villages off the coast that are really worth checking out as well! I'll probably make a little video on more things to see in Abruzzo if that's something you'd like to see! Thanks for watching!
@@JoeClement Hi Joe. Thank you for your quick reply. I would love it if you could show more videos of the different villages. It really helps to get an idea of the different places to stay or visit. Abruzzo is quite large and it’s not easy to find videos of different villages or towns on UA-cam. As you know it’s not the typical tourist destination! So not only would I enjoy watching but it will also help me choose our next place to stay in Abruzzo!! Thanks again!!!
My family is from Abruzzo and my grandparents immigrated to montreal Canada in the 60s. I experienced a lot of thse traditions as a child and we have made arosticini hundreds of times!! so cool to see you experience it in the homeland. I am planning my visit there soon, have never been. My grandfather sold his home in pescara and it is now a vineyard, so I have to go back and see it.
You are in for such a treat! There is nothing better than having some local arosticini and having some of the great wines from the area. Enjoy your trip and visiting family :)
Thanks for watching and happy to be back to posting again! Trying to be more consistent on UA-cam.... Still have a few more videos in the works from my trip to Europe! Thanks again!
I honestly can't remember exactly the name of the beach but it was slightly north of the Torre del Cerrano and I believe in the video it says the name of the beach on the left side corner as well! Hope that helps!
Dude, for future reference…maybe try and tell the folks watching your videos where you are in Abruzzo…where are those caves?…in which village were you?… there are soooo many villages and landscapes in Abruzzo, but your videos are all over the place with no mention of where you are at any moment in the videos. Just random shots of trees, villages, caves, more trees, some fountains etc etc. If you’re trying to make a channel about travelling, NAME THE PLACES YOU’RE AT!!! 🤦🤦🤦🤦
Let me know if you plan to visit this beautiful region of Italy!
We are in the process of buying a house in Molise, just over the border from Abruzzo.
@@CraigandMandy1 That's so cool! It's always been a dream of mine to buy property in another country!
My family lives in Pescara , absolutely love this place since i was a kid! Amazing video ,was there as well in november!
@@hallomancs I love Pescara!!!!

You make me want to visit Italy so badly. I love that you focus on getting more raw and authentic travel moments.
Those are the moments that really stick with me when I travel and I hope that I show people that these moments are the greatest reason to travel!

Awesome vid! Adding it to our Italy trip for next summer
Thanks! Hope you enjoy your trip!

It's a nice break from the other really touristy areas around Italy

Loved your video. Am here now exploring on two wheels. So much to see and do.
Thanks Sabina!!!! Have a great time! I've never been there in the winter but I'm sure it's stunning!

Thanks for the info I learned my ancestry on my paternal side were mostly from this region of Italy 🇮🇹 at some point I really want to go there.
Will be there in a month visiting family… Where is the beach location at the beginning of the video?
I honestly can't remember exactly the name of the beach but it was slightly north of the Torre del Cerrano and I believe in the video it says the name of the beach on the left side corner as well! Hope that helps!
I'm hoping to stay for a month next year. I wish you'd named each of the places you visited...!
most of the locations are in the bottom left corner during the video!!! :)
@@JoeClement only a few!
Awesome? Planning a trip to Abruzzo next April. What is the name of the town just before the Stiffe cave segment?
That would be the beautiful little village of Loreto Aprutino!
We also have the Trabocchi Coast ❤️
Me too! There are some more shots of the coastline in my other Abruzzo video!
Hello, Joe 😊 )))...

Jesus!!! You guys are coming with me to Tequila!!

It literally says Monte Blockhaus?
