How To Make Traditional Irish Soda Farls

In this video, I show you how to make traditional Irish Soda Farls. This recipe was passed down to me by my mother who still makes soda farls today. You can use Soda flour on its own instead of plain flour and baking soda. When ready, remove from the pan and wrap in a clean tea towel.
Soda farls taste delicious simply spread with some local Northern Irish butter. Or you could add jam or a savoury topping to your liking.
A farl is made by cutting your dough into four and cooked on top of a griddle. Soda farls are naturally low in saturated fat and low in cholesterol.
