He my fave n go to character of all time..i want his fighting style to change to a Johnny cage type set with longer n more combos and his ice can be used way more and effectively i would do his move set perfect

Super every time u use back 2 in a combo u usually miss out on damage with most combos you can dash cancel a 1 2 instead of a back 2
At least with crushing blow launchers
Back 2 ice ball is the most consistent conversion off of EX rising ice (or uppercut KB), I used it for a while until I was confident I could connect back 3, 2 ice ball.
Super does miss out on his one bar damage off of his starter into ice ball for no foreseeable reason thou.
B1, 4 ice ball, J2, S3 EX rising ice, S2 , dash cancel B1, 4, 3 slide is 30%
Super mostly does the old Sub BnB
B1, 4 ice ball, (cross up) J4, (S2) dash cancel B1, 4, 3, EX slide for (28%) 26%

I know this has little to do with the video but just wanted to say I like Sub-Zero and his character ever since MKX. Especially his code of honor and his voice. Definitely prefer his voice here over the new Movie Sub-Zero voice.

Anyone have any tips on how to get better with rain
Dude use your slide more often. If you see people blocking your overheads all the time, exploit the slide. They never ever see it coming, especially from far away where they expect you to throw an ice ball. And then when you get them used to blocking low, that's when you start going crazy with the overheads. Sub-Zero is all about screwing with your opponent's expectations
unless that midair axe move is an overhead, why would u stand block against subzero? slide from near full screen probably ain’t the best option unless u expect them to throw a high projectile
@@phase2681 Exactly. The air axe isn't an overhead, so idk. I guess that Rain player was just really scared of Sub-Zero's forward 2.
