There are village improvements that give prosperity after liberation. Then there are village decorations that give trust after reaching friendly. Trust is what you need to get to protector. Research carpenters nook then village decorations. Place the decorations in the village and the resources will get delivered at mid night if you have them in stock at your base. When all the resources arrive then the villagers, the towns not yours, will build the deco in the morning.
Make shrines to generate trust with the towns. You can basically spam them for gobs of faction. You build them in the town you want to influence. As I recall they are cheap and you can build them quickly yourself.
Research and build VILLAGE SHRINE!! You can do that at Friend tier. Costs 20 stone and gives 50 trust. Build 3-5 of them and done. Furnace requires peat, which is just north of Blackridgepool... Build a fast travel, shovel, and get some yourself. Dangerous area. I will be soooo happy when you make it thru just one episode without talking about strap shortages... lol Oh, and berries and mushrooms... most worthless 'starter' foods...
For the final levels of trust to get protector for a village you need 1. do some of the village improvements, like shrines, gardens and lanterns or houses.(shrines are the easiest to do only requires stone) 2. build the belltower and then 3. liberate the village (kill all the brigands)
Need to make ship docks at lakes and rivers near towns or at close to bridges roads to teleport your army especially need when to have , when you liberate the towns from attacks from the enemy to take back control of them.help to get close to cut off the attackers.and it helps to take out bandits camps, without walking so far .
Shrines, herbalists and houses mostly is how I got my trust levels. I thought wells were possible before liberation though so that might have changed. The coins aren't that precious so burn them.
Marek Tholy quest is bugged had to look it up. Just go see him and it fixed it for me. Believe I had to go to Padstow first. Great video loving Bellwright ATM 👍
2:34 so far at this point of the game I have not found much use for leather, only a couple of clothings that you could easily just skip. I’m actually finding better use of raw hide than making it leather
i have make my own gear set on the flag, like for those that have strength 3 i have make it to grab only the gear and weopons that needs strength 3, and i named 3 and i make it all for 3,4,5,6,7,8 strengths. and for archer i just dublicate the gear and change the weopons to take first the bow and cloth Cloth Quiver and i named them archer 3, archer 4... etc
Honestly, I am enjoying this game more than I should. I said this once in one of your Infected play throughs. Take a video or two (doesnt have to be back to back) amd get stuff done or finish stuff (I really want you to build some houses even though I know how much you seem to hate them). I am sure you have multiple people who could be archers and could benefit from reading some of the apprentice books. Also, I dont know if its just a name but it seems like footmen would benefit from certain armor while archers would benefit from a different type of armor (I think I saw at least one of your people had a high 2 handed stat but everyone uses hammer and board). Didn't you say Boxrmom kept getting knocked out due to her stats? Make her an archer. Set up the staging grounds so everyone is not a footman. I am sure there are a lot of your viewers who are playing the game and have no clue how some of these things work and would be very happy to see how to use these things (even if we have to learn it with you vs you saying Oh here is what I did, let me show you how its done). Either way, I will still keep watching, yelling at my monitor when I think you should do something or miss something and most of all keep enjoying your videos! Happy 2025!!!
Sadly this part of game is wonky. Once you do all base quests you run out, you need to use coins to level up rep to protector then build bell tower. Now heres why i say wobky, Once you complete the rebellion you get more quests! It makes no sense but same happens with other cities. So if you get frusterated youre not alone. You will also get a handful of other quests that are impossible to do until you liberate the 5th city.
BRO. I thought I've been singing this song too loud for the last couple weeks but apparently not: VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! VILLAGE IMPROVEMENTS! That's how you burn through village trust.
Yes! I was hoping for another video and I was afraid you abandoned this game. I’ve been loving this playthrough!
The icon at the mission for "tomorrow" is Blue, so you can go for that quest allready

At 20:28 that guy did drop a loot bag
I know I saw it and yelled at the screen. I need to chill.
Watching you play this has been great thanks for the videos.

Unlike that other game, it's nice to have bows that work... Well, when you have a bow. 😆

The coins are obviously for the purpose of helping us get protector.

@Kage848 once you liberate Herndon you can trade everyday and get bronze ingots. Pastow will give you straps once you liberate it.
Finally gonna make me wait two days 😬😬
Uncaged: Is there a hand cart or way to increase capacity to move items?

3:29 ps the furnace uses peat as a fuel source and it in the lower parts of the map, not spoiling where though
Kage! Could you add the episode numbers to the thumbnails? It would make my life a whole lot easier when it comes to being lazy!
This guy n his cat
