As an OEF combat veteran I was struggling with life and I'd cut everyone off throwing walls up mentally except my wife. When we dated we'd come back to her place and she'd put on music and we'd slow dance. She came to me one evening while I was isolating and in my head. She'd lite candles in the living room and she put this song on. She looked me in the eyes and said"ease come back home to me, I need you here!" We danced the night away and whenever this comes on we stop what we are doing and slow dance. She saved my life along with this young lady's words in this song. Cheers!

Was listening to this 3 years ago after my ex left me for another person without a warning, I finally have the courage to listen to this again without thinking of her in anyway. Moving on takes time but you will be there. Trust me
I’m still trying. Mine left me 2 years ago the same way. We were together for 4. He just left and posted his new girlfriend but I stuffed all the feelings down. I didn’t know what else to do. I’m still so angry and sad.

This song is so good.
This song feels like the sad yet comforting part of what I’m going through, the guilt part of what I’ve done to him, causing hell when peoples around just to get them away from him so I can have him back. Ever since I was 10 I’ve been really obsessive in love and I can appear to be a horrible person, but the mean things I do isn’t me trying to be mean, it’s me trying to protect him. Keep him safe. I find comfort in sadness since it feels like a, quiet stillness for me, a break from the anxiety of him getting hurt or him hurting me. I just wish he would understand I have nothing but pure intentions. I wish he would understand I just wanna protect him and fix everything for him. I wish he would understand I truly love him and I wanna protect him. Yet I wanna have him to myself. I just want him again.

believe it or not, this is the best song i ever listened to in my life.
i had an emotional connection to this song because it was practically keeping me alive through all the tough times going on in my life during 2021. id play it through my earbuds when my family was fighting really bad and it would block out the noise and calm me down. i fell in love with a boy who i thought would be my forever and he, out of just an act of kindness, learned how to play guitar just so he could play this song for me himself when i was upset. i loved him with everything in me. he was the reason i was still alive. i had extremely bad health back then, and was dealing with a lot mentally because i was constantly in the hospital. he ended up cheating on me while i was in surgery and never spoke to me again. i still wonder how hes doing sometimes, because what people say is a lie. you never fully get over someone, you just learn to cope with their absence. i can’t listen to this song anymore, so i had to choose another song to replace it with. moral of the story: don’t trust anyone no matter what, live for yourself and not others, and most importantly, DONT SHARE YOUR FAVORITE SONGS WITH PEOPLE.
