@@goldenstateofmindthedude2433 I'm going to give you one serious answer, because that's all you deserve. As someone who sadly knows what abuse is, I guarantee you these children were not anywhere CLOSE to being abused in this video. It's an insult that you even think that it's abuse and you calling everything you see "abuse" does not make things better. Be realistic, be human and for fuck's sake stop being so stupid. Children aren't fragile ceramic dolls. They are human being and as such sometimes require forceful intervention. If I pull a child forcefully from the street, I am not ABUSING the child. If a child gets SLIGHTLY pulled out of the room because her father is on live television, that isn't abuse, you cow. She was literally sliding across the floor, not being run over by a train.
This video still makes me laugh. Every damn time. Even funnier in 2020 now that this is a daily reality for so many of us. If this family had a vlog, I’d watch it.
I still regularly watch this video. At the time, it was probably dad's most embarrassing professional moment. Today this clip remains loved worldwide-and is an iconic memory of the pandemic. We needed that laugh then-and I needed it again today too. May God bless that family.
OMG. Isn't it true? We lived through historic Pandemic something we only hear in the history books. What we all have gone through will always remain in this video to remind us our histories. Applaud to everyone who made the tough time through.

@@billvill61 Actually, it was on live TV. The wife was actually watching his interview while he was busy then when she saw the daughter walk in she sprung into action. Here's the story where everyone got to meet the family: ua-cam.com/video/PLMSoD1riE0/v-deo.html
Funnier because I have watched this a couple times and still don't remember what he was talking about; if it wasn't repeated in the broadcast that it was Korean politics I'd never know. The kid was the best part.
Would have been better if the News Anchor kept quiet after introducing the clip. And allow it to unfold on its own. (I'm capable of understanding what I'm viewing without some over-talkative News Anchor narrating every cough, beat and scene.)
I see how people are stupid. I do not why they are running at the mom (divorce her...blah blah). It is the man's failure, he has to lock the door. Period.
I read an article written by a guy who had this happen to him. He worked at home and he said that if he locked the door his young children would scream or bang on the door that they wanted to be let in or that they wanted juice or something. He said that he has to have another adult in the house when he tries to video chat otherwise his children will just interrupt. He mentioned that a lot of work-at-home people will actually go out to their cars to have video chats because the children can be so disruptive. Children will be children.
To the people saying all he had to do was lock the door: no. The right move is for the kids to be out of the house at that time. Or at least as far away as possible within the house, like on another floor. And kept busy/quiet, even if it takes special measures like extra TV or snacks. I mean, sure, lock the door just in case it all goes to hell. But if they decide to go full chaos mode, which is kids' default state, right outside the door, then that noise is going right through that door anyway.
Typical diplomat dad can't deal with family issues and say, "Please excuse me," and help his kids out of the room. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern knew to take a moment with her little girl.
A messed up family ...i understand he was busy ,but he would have looked alot better if he would have kindly gotten up and helped his kids out of the room with a little more gentleness that was borderline child abuse what we seen
Fart Smucker wait how?? You don’t know anything about this guy. All you know was that he was invited to a teleconference call at home to speak live on news. How is that choosing work over family? Aren’t we all choosing work over family whenever we do work? And again, he was at home with his family. So yes, he does value his family. Don’t judge
While the kid is getting dragged out of the room, she is asking her mom "why are you doing this to me?" The lady is obviously not a nanny because the kids look like a half Caucasian and Asian. But that dad looks scary and looks pissed! How about locking the door! !
im surprised no one made a big deal about how the mom dragged the kids out the room. did you see the little girle she was on the floor almost stuck in the walker.
The mom might've dragged her kid but she was likely stressed with the fact "Oh my, my kids have just interrupted my husband's meeting. I gotta get these kids out of here NOW". Dragging a kid can be quite common if they know how you handle them and is often done if the kid protests. People just overexaggerate how one handles parenting, dragging kids by their arm is different from grabbing them by their shirts and dragging them out. Sure, a leg gotten stuck with the walker but that would hurt a lot less than something like a foot in the way of a door being closed.
Someone needs to find that baby sitter and put her in jail that's child abuse ...the children could have been handled with much more care.. and the father needs to take patenting classes ASAP
Ha, baby has wheels....and the kid, that was funny, but how mom pulled the kid off the bed was a bit much...well, don't know how their marriage is so no one can really judge.
They are doing swell, the family was later introduced in a more meeting way where BBC went back and had an interview and R. Kelly introduced his wife and kids and their names. You could tell how his wife was kind of freaking out, kids, in the husband's office, while he has an interview, he's going to get fired, more thoughts running through her mind. She could've probably approached it more calmly but when you're stressed with all of that you'll do what you gotta do, even if it means dragging the kid out which compared to what I've seen is nothing compared to the parents who make their kids eat hot sauce as punishment or get beaten and thrown into walls (or worse, stabbed or killed, one of my friends got abused to the point his mother actually stabbed him).
Ocean Universe he’s not pissed off tho he’s laughing and how can you tell whether or not he’s a wife beater just from this video? He’s obviously serious for some of the video but that’s only because he’s in an interview and he didn’t seem pissed about it if you paid attention to his reaction
Ocean Universe what? You have little to no information to make that conclusion. All you know is that he was on a conference call in front of national television and his children walked in, and his wife dragged them out. That does not = wife beater.
