Military career can be very unpredictable. Gen. Irabor is from 34 regular course and Maj Gen. CG Musa is from the 38 Regular course . This implies that all senior military officers from course 34 to course 37 must retire, some in course 38 will be retained by the CDS at the defense HQs while the rest senior officers of course 38 will still retire. So sad . This tradition simply means that in one swoop , President Tinubu retired more than 100 senior military officers . I wish them well.

The current chief of army staff , Lagbaja is from course 39 which means every single senior army officer up to course 38 must retire in the army except a few of them that will move to the defense headquarters with the CDS because an officer cannot take command from his junior. The error has to be corrected, forcing high chiefs in the military to resign when they still have the ability, skills, and energy to carry out their duties is not the best. This profession deserves some respect, if Tinubu is no longer a president tomorrow all these new chiefs will be forced to resign. I can't work in the Nigerian military.
