I personally think the Miner is really underrated. A lot of people practically refuse to use it cause it's obvious when someone sees a random mine, but using it strategically can be extremely good, putting it in key areas like specimen/decontam areas or dropship. Behind the rock is a good spot too
i agree! i think some don’t like to do it bc then it’s easier to guess what kind of impostors there are in the game
@@jujumariex which doesn't even really make sense when grenadier and venerer and blackmailer and morphing exist. The only imp role that goes under the radar is swooper

@truesketch813 It does make sense. Crewmates finding a vent makes you getting guessed go from ~ 1 in 12 to 1 in 2.
Koji got really unlucky going against a Med-Shielded Sheriff.
Good to see someone finally utilize Miner to the best of its ability. This is the best Miner game I've seen in like 3 years!
2:53 as 5up mentioned he "Likes having Vitals moved to Medbay" - I really hope the Morning Lobby at least TRIES having the Vitals location moved to medbay.
As someone that watches a lot of POVs, the amount of endgame stacking in office around Admin/Vitals/Button is too much imo, and moving Vitals away gives improved spacing and better to the flow imo.
- I'm glad everyone agrees having Reboot Wifi in dropship is good, cause it gives crew a reason to return to Dropship. Now if only we have the vitals in Medbay please (also makes more sense from a thematic/lore perspective!).
Yes! Always been an advocate for this change, it really balances the power of vitals/admin info and it makes so much more sense thematically!
If kara is the host again, I'm sure they'll have the change eventually. I'm glad they tried new settings to spice it up. It was getting kind of repetitive with the same roles on the same map with the same tasks

Yea he almost got it if it weren't for the shield. His only option to win there was that he could have kept running to the vent under lab, vent to office, button, pretend that he was scared of Kara chasing him to kill him (which is true), then guess her as sheriff as she tries to defend herself to make it look like she was an imposter that gave up and mis-guessed

16:30 Don't feel bad Koji cause it wasn't a Ping issue, you got the "Kill" function off fine a couple times as you can see by the medic screen flashing green multiple times.

is there a reason why there isn't a visual for the imposters when they try to kill shielded people?
A blue flash might be good to show killers they just tried to attack a shielded player.
@@Saaaten I quite like the disco lights the medic gets when the shielded person gets spammed. We would lose that if the attempted murderer got an indicator.
All the miner vents connecting is OP
Considering how often they play, switching up task placement would seem like a must surprised to not see it in more games

Put a mine behind Dwayne and below the table in speci. No one can see below the table. A mine behind the Wepons tower might be noticed, but is easily missed. Bottom left in Death Basket is good too.
You can see mines out of your vision, fyi. See: Kimi killing Toast when she saw him drop a mine in bottom decon when she was on admin table

I think Scott got kind of close there, but he needed to either vent to the other side of reactor or stack on top of someone else so Kara wouldn't risk the shot, from there if someone buttons he can probably convince 5up to help him vote out Kara and Kimi under the assumption that the reactor was simply called a bit too early.
Alternatively, Scott could've tried to create a narrative where Junk was sheriff but misfired during the flashbang; If Kara specifically protests, it would only strengthen the belief that Kara and Kimi are a pair.
I hope Koji feels better about the Ping issue once he realized she was Shielded

Coz it needs to be like 10 or less seconds after the kill otherwise when u scan its still green even though they are imposter. Some folks dont check the logs or they forget about the info. It was from 1st round so its easy to forget or not even mention anything coz neutrals can guess too.
I think she scanned the body of dk, which Junk killed
