    Yess! 7 and a half minutes of pure Horn and Trumpet!! Awesome!
    Maybe a 4 horn version of Farewell to dobby would be very cool? Or a Horn and Trumpet version of Obliviate? (Because i am in a HP-vibe right now :D)

    Congratulations on another brilliant piece. As always I was astounded by your tone quality and ability to play clean, high notes at low dynamics. This has been emphasised after I purchased when you believe and tried it myself and I discovered that although I could play the notes, there was such a massive difference in tone quality compared to your playing.

    • @Marc_Papeghin
      @Marc_Papeghin  5 років тому +4

      Thanks Theo ! Yeah my guess is it all comes with time and practice...after all I've been playing for 26 years ( started at 8 and I'm now 34 )
      Your tone quality just naturally evolves once you've played a lot, in lots of different styles and with other people too :)
      Oh and thanks for purchasing When You Believe ! It's such a wonderful piece..

      Marc Papeghin thanks for replying. I’m still a relatively new player, as I’m only 18 and have been playing for 7 years so I’ve got a way to go before I catch you up. I’m hoping to start playing professionally soon and want to thank you, as you’ve been a big inspiration to me to keep practicing.

      Not that long to be honest since I'm already familiar with the music :)
      Recording a piece like this is usually done in a few hours !
      The longest part of the process is actually to put together the video : film myself, transcribe all of the notes ( I actually do that after recording the whole thing ), synchronize the sheet music with the music etc...

    • @Marc_Papeghin
      @Marc_Papeghin  5 років тому

      I use the original tracks as backing tracks ;) It could be interesting to create my own orchestral arrangements but it would take a looot of time, plus my goal with these videos really is to just have fun with the horn/trumpet parts, for people to be able to play them and follow the scrolling music sheet all synched to it ( which is something I personally really enjoy to watch :D )
      So for these reasons using the original pieces just works best for me :)

      @@Marc_Papeghin Oh I see. I play a not very common instrument with a small note range and since most of the times I have to transpose the sheet, the backing track is not in the same key. Do you recommend anything for that situation?
