Glanville deserves to be brought up on charges of Witness intimidation, defense council intimidation, civil rights violations and dereliction of his duties as a Judge. He acts like a mob boss threatening people and making veiled threats about people losing their ability to practice law etc. The only person in this case that should be behind bars is the judge himself.
I’ve known Judges who behave with this kind of impunity for my entire life.
The difference is - we all see it happening. It isn’t just happening quietly in a small town court, which is what small town judges have gotten away with ever since we became a nation.
This judge is absolutely demonstrating what has been wrong with the justice system, forever.
This Judge has destroyed this trial !

The Judge needs to be put in jail. He literally BROKE THE LAW with ex parte comminucation without the defense lawyer. After getting called out for his corruption he puts the defense lawyer of contempt

Georgia has a "higher court"? Where have they been for two years? This judge should be GONE! And ALL legal folks need investigated (recorders, bailifs, ect)
That judge deserves to be in prison for a minimum of 10 years. You know he has done this to everyone and this is just the first time people have seen it. All of his cases should be reviewed. There is no telling how many innocent people he has locked up.

Well I don't know anything about this case but essentially... the prosecution have a witness they want to testify. The witness is uncooperative, refusing to answer questions (quite possibly out of fear of the repercussions). The prosecution and the judge speak with the witness in private (that's called ex parte because it was done outside the presence of all parties, i.e. the defence was not invited to be part of it). The defence learned of this ex parte discussion and objected. The judge wanted to know HOW the defence knew about this at this point and HOW they knew what had been discussed with the witness (i.e the judge believes that ex parte communication was leaked to the defence and wants to know by whom). The defence lawyer refused to say how he knew, i.e. would not answer the question and divulge who had told him the details of the discussion, focussing only on whether ex parte communications should have been made. The judge held him in contempt of court for refusing to say who had told him. Whether the ex parte communication itself was lawful I do not know, but the defence was arguing it was not.
