My strategy is super simple and I haven’t had a job in 10 years, I trade flags on a 60 minute chart. It works about 70%. Easy to see easy to trade, usually get 50 pips on average on the GBPUSD but the fast move into a flag is usually how far they go coming out of the flag. When the break the flag they usually break hook back then go. You must enter on the hook and be part of the wick. You need confidence and don’t click out for 3 pips you must stay in to the target
UPDATE: I chickened out after 10 pips profit, it went some more after. So this time it worked out.
I'd be curious to know how often do you trade and how often do you see this pattern.
Original Comment: out of curiosity I took a quick glance at GBP/USD and it just happened to break out of a bullish flag - lookin shape right now. I gave your strategy a go and went long. Curious how it will work out.

Hi there..we do similar things. Do you find this works well on any pair (e.g. XAUUSD is one I trade daily but it is often not for the weak hearted!). GBPAUD or the 'Tiger' (GBPJPY) can produce great moves. Anything you do (I am just reviewing my setups as I come into trading FT again with 50K and just need about $350 a day which I don't find too difficult but earning your own income is a different mind set).
E you been on fire lately. Reason I like you I’d cuz you bring real traders with real wisdom and experience. Not 20 year old kids 😂

Excellent interview! The more I trade and I thankfully doing much better now, the more I realize it is about strategy/techniques mostly but about my mindset, how I think and expecting success. I don't fear (mostly) anymore, don't care if I win or lose (however like winning more though!!) and just need to take time.

Yes, but psychology comes after setups that actually work and provide profit. So instead of talking about Vegas he should have described the setups the very successful use. It's now a common theme among "gurus" that they always talk about anything else but setups. So either they are in retail forex because it's easy to trick beginners to give them money i.e. fraud or they're full of themselves.
Nah you got it wrong. Winning strategies are everywhere it’s your brain that’s the problem
It's not the setup that makes a good trader, it's the trader that will determine if they're successful or not

Prop firms take risks by providing you with capital. So doing it for free… I don’t think that’s possible.
Even the guru of the gurus is trying to make more. What 6 figure trader doesn't want to become a 7? It's in our nature to want more of everything.
I’d argue when you stop wanting to get better… you start falling behind.
