Nothing like the first sun center me and my mum worked there in the 80s it was such a busy place l bet that dark looking place will never see the amount of people that went in to the sun center 1 .should have just refurbished the old one .its a crime to see wat rhyl us become the council must be proud of themselves . The Original Rhyl Sun Centre was Wayyyyy better.."waaavves in the pool"...used to go there most summers as a kid,was gutted to see it getting flattened😓😓😓
LiverBird1984 MYOB Actually I believe they said waves in the lagoon pool. Or waves in the main pool. One of the two lol. Another good water park was the bolton water place. There the wave machine announcement was waves starting in 5 4 3 2 1. Or something like that. That bad boy wave machine took you into this rapids type bit of the main pool then spat you back out the other end. Look it up.

also getting rid of the fair at Rhyl was a bad idea as fairs atrract familys
it looks abit of a let down conpaired to the last 1.
Its really really good compared to the old dirty sun centre this is extremely clean the staff are amazing and the food and drink is reasonably priced
It’s dark and ugly coloured no lovely warm oranges or blues
