You guys really nailed this. Can’t say I didn’t get emotional. Daniel was a special guy to me. When I started detailing in 2006-2007, Daniel was a young boy that came on the forums hungry to learn and start a business. He got as much encouragement as he did flack. People did not understand his passion and drive - It was above what nay-sayers could comprehend. Daniel made huge strides forward in learning and becoming an extremely competent detailer. When I stopped detailing years later and then got back into it around 2015, I always wondered if Daniel, known as baseballlover on the forums, was still detailing. A couple years later I found him on Facebook and it made me so happy to see the business he had created with his team, and at the top of his craft no less. Rest In Peace Daniel, and great job on this video guys.
Never in my life did I think that cars would bring so many people together in the best way possible. I also never thought that a video like this would be so emotional and so heartwarming at the same time. I absolutely love this community and I hope that when my time comes, I can have a chat with Daniel in paradise..
A true tearjerker. More so because I've been watching Dan and AA on this channel since the start. I'm sure wherever he is now, he wants to give Ben&Ben&Luke a huge hug after watching this. RIP Daniel.
When gears released the first video of Automotive Aesthetics I fell in love with detailing and it got me out my Depression knowing how much Daniel and the Team Inspired me with that being said I’m on a mission to build my own detailing studio he truly inspired us on how to care for our cars ,and vehicles. Him and his Team shown us that detailing is a form of Art and Beauty Thank You Automotive Aesthetic Thank You Daniel! And Thank You G&G for Opening our Eyes of the Car Community and introducing us to Daniel and Automotive Aesthetics I appreciate you Guys so Much #ForDaniel
Now I feel selfishly stupid for wondering why I hadn't seen detail videos on this channel for a while. That was the only reason I subscribed because I had just got my first car and needed some guidance on products and techniques. I've never felt this emotional about someone I didn't know passing. I wish you guys all the best. Rest Easy Daniel.
All the buckets of soap i froth up, scratches i polish away, headlights i restore, rock chips i touch up! Will be for you Daniel! Rest In Paradise man!🕊 Fly high!
All I can say is that this is beautiful in every way possible. Every detailing video that G&G made with Daniel was pure art. The music, cinematography, the stories, all of it reflected the passion that Daniel and the others have for cars. Watching this video honestly made my heart ache but in a good way. It's a masterpiece. Rest in paradise Daniel. Much love. ❤️
Dear Gears and Gasoline, your videos are not just videos. They are a mixture of feelings. The production quality is absolutely next level, best I’ve ever seen among other automotive UA-cam channels. Highly appreciate such good quality videos. Well done and never stop making them. ❤️ RIP Daniel. 🙏🏼
Am Sam 29yrs from Nairobi, Kenya. I have been a huge fun of Gears and Gasoline channel ever since it popped up as a recommendation back in 2019. I don't know Daniel or any of the team members in the channel , however , my passion for cars from aesthetic to performance has just made me realize how cars bring people together across the globe as if you know each on a personal level. I ,clearly, cant afford any of the cars here and I can only dream to have one ....as I almost cried when Ben sold his Forester to how overjoyed when he bought his STI( Congratulations btw). Point is, we cant all afford everything we want, but can make a difference with the knowledge and skill we have even if it costs only a smile to someone else. RIP Daniel your legacy will live on.
this is so beautiful its good to see the lads at Automotive aesthetic soldiering on despite all the setbacks they were going through huge respect for them and g&g for supporting them through tough times rest in peace Daniel
I hope this doesn't take away from Daniel in this moment.... but I'm an engineering student striving to do amazing things one day that'll bring a smile to my life one day, hopefully. Something I tell myself constantly is "On the day it's all over, I want to look back and cry, because it has to end" and that all of this will be worth it. I look at someone like Daniel, who did just that, from the very beginning, someone who found his place and passion in this cruel and messy reality. He was one of the lucky ones. And I hope that he got to turn around and cry with a smile, because it had to end. Rest in peace Daniel.
I can't stop crying, he inspired me so much to do what I love and not care what people say about me, he was more than legend to me, and even though he never knew I existed, he will keep on inspiring me until forever. We love you Daniel, and thank you so much for the impact you made in my life.
I remember the blue wrx video like it was yesterday. I still go back and watch it every few months. I learned some of the detailing thing I know from watching Daniel in these videos. Its tragic and absolutely heartbreaking to hear that he has passed away. RIP Daniel you will be missed
I was at Fort Lee, VA for training during the summer for about 4 months. I was coming from California and I told myself that “man, I can wait till I’m done so I can take my car to them soon” that next morning, I was ready to go in July 30th and saw the post on Instagram and my heart dropped. I’m a detailer myself because of him and he is my detail role model for the longest. But just the fact that I wasn’t going to meet Daniel was so heart breaking. I just want to say to the team that thank you guys for continuing the legacy. #RIPDaniel
I cried three times during this and I don’t even know Daniel personally, you can just his passion in everything. He impacts everyone positively he seems. May he rest peacefully.
I have owned multiple cars with bad paint and have used some of Daniel’s process on all of them. He showed me how accessible paint detailing can be and that there is always something extra I could be doing. This proves his impact on the world and that it stretches even to a small Australian city. I especially watched the WRX detailing video 3 times when I got my WRX so I could replicate what he has done. I will be detailing it and thinking of him. Thank you for what you have done for the community Daniel. Thank you Gears and Gasoline for shining a light on this. I’m sure the boys will continue his legacy with pride. I hope his friends and family are okay knowing Daniel is at peace.
Sunday morning, breakfast made, turn the TV on in the living room to G&G, and watching a marathon of the detailing videos. That’s what inspired me to take pride in cleaning and detailing my car. Thank you Daniel, rest east bud!
I found out about Daniels passing just yesterday, I was bumbed out because there was always something different about his detail videos compared to the countless detailing channels on youtube. Glad I was able to watch your content, I hope you're ripping rubber in the afterlife Daniel.
Watching the old detailing videos with Daniel showing the process, it actually inspired me during the lockdowns in 2020 to start detailing my car, i fell in love with washing it, and I have to thank Daniel for showing me what to do. Rest in peace man
Most of the time, people that look very happy and try to make everyone happy like Daniel, are the most sad and hurt inside 😢I know what he felt, the struggle is real. Pls seek help if you ever feel that way. ❤ RIP Daniel 🙏❤
I found myself watching the video of Daniel detailing the WRX right when I bought mine. I must have seen it like 5-6 times. You could definitely see the passion and the commitment and the good dedication to his craft. I'm sure he was amazing person and a better friend. Rest in peace.
I just got into detailing from seeing a couple videos of Daniel, and to see this one I really was expecting him to be there I didn’t read the title or focus too much on the thumbnail so it was a complete surprise and it broke my heart I can’t believe it 😢 28y old he still had a lot to ……. 😖🥺💔 RIP Daniel
Those detailing videos were a constant in my life. STILL ARE! I just feel sad about them now sometimes. Id watch those videos multiple times a month just to chill and come down from stress or anxiety. I cried when I found out he died. I went and watched those videos for the 30th time each but with a totally different mindset and it was beautifully sad. RIP.
Been feeling down lately. Lack of motivation to work on my car and even just to go to work. Came back to this video…& and man… it may sound cheesy but my spirit and motivation has been lifted. Just Daniel smiling has me smiling for no reason. All of you guys smiling has me smiling too. Life is so precious… im truly honored to still be able to watch you guys. We may never meet or exchange words…but hope you guys are still doing well. Keep doing what you guys are doing because you guys help and inspire many people. Much love guys🖤
Anytime someone ever asks me why I love detailing, or what's so special about it... I'm going to direct them to this video. This one hit me for sure. I only ever seen Daniel in your videos, and his passion and what they do at Automotive Aesthetic is what really kicked me in gear to wanting to do detailing outside of just keeping my vehicles clean in a normal owner/car relationship. I can only hope that some day I have even a fraction of the passion everyone says he had for detailing, and I would be satisfied. Rest in Peace Daniel 💜
I feel like I've lived under a rock hearing Daniel passed. I definitely love these videos and love to see the team moving forward keeping the name going. RIP Daniel and keep plugging guys at Automotive Aesthetics
Daniel definitely left an impact on me as a car enthusiasts that loves detailing, thank you gears and gasoline for filming these videos as he did teach me a lot through your videos 🙏🏽 R.I.P. Daniel🧽✨❤️
This video was so emotional for many reasons, but it touches many of us who saw all the videos and almost feel like we knew Daniel personally and identify ourselves with him over our passion for detailing and cars. May Daniel soul Rest In Peace, and all the love and support for you guys for keeping his legacy alive! 🙏🏼
You guys really did nail this like "Make It Shine Detail" said. R.I.P. Daniel. You never knew/met me but I loved how you detailed cars and your personality toward the world. You will be missed. Prays to his family and to him.
Not gonna lie, This brought tears to my eyes. Thank you Daniel for caring about cars as much as we do. Thank you for giving your heart into what you did. Thank you.
I cried straight for 19 mins. Even if I didnt know or even see Daniel or any of these guys. But I feel your message so hard. Cheers from Poland guys. Heavy emotional
I literally have been crying through this whole video, i miss Daniel and his energy he brought to the community. I've been going through alot this past year with my girl of 6 years leaving and every day i think of passing but this video made me realize that what id do is hurt those around me with suicide.
This hits me heavily in the feels…this channel is so personal and perfectly incapsulates the manner in which car culture brings people together. I’ve never met any of the people from this channel but the kinship with total strangers shines through. RIP to a soul taken too soon🤙🏻
Hey man! love your F1 videos. I loved seeing this comment as it shows just how wide and connected the car community can be, from F1 fanatics, to detailing artists. Just beautiful.
Automotive Aesthetic and the detailing videos are the main reason why I subscribed to G&G, hearing daniel talk about his passion i felt connected. Although I only knew him from the videos I was really sad about him passing and i wish the guys all the best to honor him. RIP daniel.
Amazing. I’m saddened that Daniel has passed. Clearly he has left a mark on you guys and for you to carry the torch, will keep his memory alive. You’ve paid respect to Daniel
Love the cinematography on these videos. I remember when I first saw the detailing video of the blue WRX. Still my favorite detailing video. Kudos to these guys battling on through the pandemic and after Daniel's passing. Wish them all the very best.
His videos on detailing cars was therapeutic for me looking at him working on his passion always helped me enjoy my own. I was looking forward to his new shop and the next video I feel bad he's gone I am glad I got to see him doing what he loved on this channel.
Doing what Daniel did with starting a professional detailing business is quite literally my dream. I've been detailing cars by myself as a mobile detailer and working for a company for about 3 years now. It's definitely my place in the industry and I completely understand the obsession.
Condolences to the AA team as well as the G&G team. I started washing my car again after watching the G&G videos featuring Daniel as he re-ignited my love for my car so I applied the small amounts I learnt from those videos. I also started researching detailing shops that carry Modesta ceramic coatings because if it was good enough for Daniel then I am sure it will be fine for me. Hopefully they are close to Daniel's level of perfection. To all those that knew Daniel I am sorry for your loss as he will be missed. Hopefully the relationship between AA and G&G stays strong. Look after each other....
I found this channel thanks to Daniel. His passion made me watch every second of the WRX video and been watching the channel since then. Learned a lot from him. Will be missed but always remembered.
I love that "flow" that you guys speak of. I've been dealing for years and I absolutely love the flow state. I want to make a career out of stuff like this. I adore your shop and lifestyle.
Man, i'm definitely speechless........ I started my detailing business because of watching Automotive Aesthetic detailing videos. I also watched your video ritually just to perfect my craft. Prayers and thoughts goes out to you guys and his family. RIP Daniel. He will forever be remembered for his passion and knowledge for detailing, but also for being an amazing human being.
This video... Definitely made me emotional. You can see the passion in everyone involved, from the talent to the edit. Well done, everyone. Rest in peace, Daniel. Your legacy lives on.
I definitely cried watching this. I regret not going to the shop and meeting Daniel when I had the chance. I so wanted him to fix my Altima. RIP Daniel.
It’s really nice to watch people giving that much care to a car like this one. Used and abused on a race track, but still being classy as a Suit and a tie. The 930 turbo is my absolute dream car, when I manage to achieve It, I’m absolutely going to treat it like they do
Yeah if I had A LOT of money like won the lottery, that's what I'd buy. There's a specific one owned by famous actor Peter Sellers that I specifically NEED to own, as he is related to me so it's like fate in a way that he turned out to have this car I love so much.
Man the first ever video i watched from G&G was Daniel talking detailing asian Ben's white evo few years ago and ever since then every time they upload something related to automotive aesthetic I would be so happy and click on that video so fast. RIP Daniel :(
I didn't know Daniel, but I can tell from the videos the type of guy he was. This video really hits close to home because I recently lost one of my best friends who happened to also run a well known detailing company. Daniel and Jesse, you both are greatly missed by the car community, and the world is less bright without you.
When I first heard Daniel's voice on this video, I felt really emotional, such an awesome guy, I wish I would have been able to meet him. We miss you Daniel.
This video really hits us hard, even not knowing Daniel we recently lost a very similar detailer ourselves. They are interesting incredible people that are almost a subset unto themselves. The attention to detail. The always making to make it the best it can be. Not wanting the camera to be on them but on their work. Truly sorry for your loss, without knowing Daniel we can certainly tell the kind of person he was and how much he meant to all of you. Carry bits of him forward with you and he'll influence each of you forever.
We are so sorry to hear. I have a background in detailing so I get the passion that he felt when working on a car. Love to see the customers face when the vehicle is being picked up. We will keep his family in our prayers 🙏 And thanks for another great video.
I've randomly found this video and I was really drawn to the story. It's sad to see someone so young pass away- kinda reminds me of when my friend died in a car crash....he was only 19. I really wish all the best to everyone at Automotive Aesthetic. Rest in peace Daniel.
I actually wanted to watch this because I knew he would be the one in the video, didn't expect for things to end this way. I enjoyed every time he was on the screen. So sorry for his family's loss.
This is the crazy part about this journey as a creator you are always excited to get the next video out sometime we forget how priceless the moments are with the people that are there for us
A few years ago I saw some of AA videos with Daniel and I knew I wanted him to detail my car. I was extremely saddened to hear about the loss to the detailing world. I am glad you guys are still detailing cars I plan on bringing a car to you guys soon.
These videos are one of the reasons I want to detail. My ideas sparked from the first time I saw them and Daniel do the Evo video. Will be forever thankful I came across their videos. R.I.P Daniel. Keep up the work fellas!
Beautiful tribute. Glad to see you guys are keeping it going. I’ve always believed that the way we honor those we love who have passed on is to keep moving forward, to remember them in what we do, to live our lives. Man, you guys are definitely doing that. Woulda been cool to share a nice cold Sierra Nevada Pale Ale with Daniel (saw his hat). Rest In Peace. You’ve inspired many, I know you’ve inspired me.
Thank you, I've heard the stories his father mentioned with his username and it's always been a story with others. He will always be missed
As someone who just got into detailing this video was so emotional. Rest In Paradise Daniel. 🕊
What happened? Ffs I can’t believe it.
Never in my life did I think that cars would bring so many people together in the best way possible. I also never thought that a video like this would be so emotional and so heartwarming at the same time. I absolutely love this community and I hope that when my time comes, I can have a chat with Daniel in paradise..
Amen to that
Watch Graeme's video with Daniel, "The Artist", here: ua-cam.com/video/Ig7aJF52g7s/v-deo.html. A beautiful piece.
Good to see ben rocover. Hope he regains his strength and stamina
As an Advance Auto team member, I’m proud our organization supports your channel and Automotive Aesthetic. You’re always remembered Daniel!
A true tearjerker. More so because I've been watching Dan and AA on this channel since the start. I'm sure wherever he is now, he wants to give Ben&Ben&Luke a huge hug after watching this. RIP Daniel.
“When the customer looks at you and has a genuine appreciation for what you do, that’s what makes it all worth it.” Absolutely nailed it.

RIP Bro, became a fan today and lost a hero today. Keep it up guys, it's a beautiful thing.
I still go back and rewatch his detailing videos quite often. I was going to do it today actually, until I saw this in my feed.

Daniel got me into detailing. Now it's my passion. Thank you Daniel. And thanks g&g for the videos
I don't comment often on videos, but that was a beautiful tribute to your friend. Best wishes from South Carolina.
RIP.

Hopefully they are close to Daniel's level of perfection.
To all those that knew Daniel I am sorry for your loss as he will be missed. Hopefully the relationship between AA and G&G stays strong.
Look after each other....
I don’t know Daniel on a personal level but I seriously stopped what I was doing and cried when I heard he passed away… damn
What an amazing tribute to Daniel, his passion and dedication is an example. I'm sure he's still checking your work from above.
I found this channel thanks to Daniel. His passion made me watch every second of the WRX video and been watching the channel since then.
Learned a lot from him. Will be missed but always remembered.
First time I ever got emotional about a car related video. Thank you for sharing Daniel's story. Rest in Peace Daniel. I would have loved to meet you.
What a tribute to Daniel Thx for sharing all these intimate memories. Brought tears to my eyes.
Rest Easy, Daniel. My brother and I will never forget the impact you had on us DIY detailing.
What.....Just started watching these vids and you're telling this guy passed away, clearly passionate guy there. guttered. RIP Daniel.
This video... Definitely made me emotional. You can see the passion in everyone involved, from the talent to the edit. Well done, everyone. Rest in peace, Daniel. Your legacy lives on.
Very well put together video. Will miss seeing him and his charismatic self.
Rest in peace Daniel.
This was outstanding. RIP Daniel. You are loved.
We will keep his family in our prayers 🙏
And thanks for another great video.
This is the crazy part about this journey as a creator you are always excited to get the next video out sometime we forget how priceless the moments are with the people that are there for us
Thanks to everyone involved. Best wishes to Automotive Aesthetics! RIP Daniel!!
2 years, miss you always Daniel.
A true ledgend... the legacy you left will not be forgotten, Rest Easy
RIP DANIEL 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. Great Video to commentate him and his passion. Inspires us all to go out and CHASE OUR PASSIONS
Never been so sad for a person i never met as i was for daniel, rest in peace, you will be missed
Biggest F for Daniel.
May he rest in paradise
.... Now you can drive for ever Daniel.... Rest and enjoyed the rest of the journey...
Wait… is that Graeme from the cabin build?
I’m really sorry for your loss!!! Daniel was too young to go!
My condolences guys!
