I just avoid bringing up my world level tbh. The only reason I ever purposefully bring up my world level is so that I can get materials to ascend my characters.
I got a Crimson Witch Cup with Pyro dmg bonus, EM, crit rate and ER. I upgraded it, got a hp% then upgraded more, all the upgrades till 20 went into hp% 🤧.

There is 0 reason to go pass 45 world lvl yet even. We dont have a quest that asks us to be that high on it. Just farm on easy and stockpile the goods.
the definitely nerfed the drops from world bosses. before the update i used to get atleast one 5 star drop from every 3/4 runs on ar 40 but now im at ar45 and nothing even after 5+ runs

if you kill the geo, anemo, cryo, pyro and hydro elite bosses then theres a higher chance for you to get the gladiator set because theres less artifacts to get so theres a better/higher chance to obtain them

I've noticed that after the patch for the fischl event, drop rates plunged so much. Hidden downgrade from mihoyo, thinking that they were generous thru the event. They had the last laugh.
Probably I'm unlucky getting venti and diluc on a single tap. Not to mention a couple of 5 star weapons. All based on my observation before and after the fischl event, given a huge sample size of drops already . F2p here btw.

For weapon enhancement to only use crystals, you can lock all of your 3-star weapons and then do the auto-add. Also if you don't want to waste 3-star crystals, you can then subtract 1 and use the 2-star crystals then subtract 1 and use a 1-star crystal to fine-tune the amount of weapon exp and mora you're feeding into your weapons. You're welcome.

omg this is me. i got a 4* bolide goblet with geo dmg main stat and crit rate substat for ningguang. i was so excited. new stat was elemental mastery. all upgrades went to elemental mastery. guess she's got thick shields now :')
I honestly don't get why some say character levels aren't worth... it's honestly optimal to raise everything as high as possible on your DPS, and even then every character runs off a specific stat anyway. Only a very select few run mostly off a stat like EM (venti and sucrose). The rest clearly has some part of their kit that says they run off atk, HP or def.... Even then, the current EM focused characters are all anemo and swirl runs off both EM and the level of the character that caused it (only vaporize, melt, and crystalize don't use character level for the damage output if any) between base stat increase (the biggest factor in what artifacts boost) and level difference adjustment being a factor, it's really dumb to gimp yourself over that. Plus we knew the exp and mora requirements was gonna spike anyway so why act surprised at this point? Not trying to sound like a white knight but seriously, this is starting to sound like a lack of common sense now or are people that lazy to grind? My only issue with the grind anyway is the weekly boss mats for talents and the abysmal northlander prototype drop rate, and even then I've still played games with a worse grind than this...

To tell you truth Not all 5* are good only some and there some 4* who are better then 5* im not saying dont farm them but if you so happend get Def while you wanted something else it kinde screw you up if you get no Crit DMG/Rate or ATC or HP at some there even proeple who used there con resin still got bad drop rate. Still try your best the get the 5* you need i wish and hope you get luck with the drop rate

I’d say don’t do the ruins for ar 50 but I’m pretty sure you can upgrade your characters. This way your world level won’t increase, and the boost from ar 50 compared to 45 is dog. and don’t forget that the enemies get stronger. And logically the boost doesn’t scale with the rewards
I don't if a lot of people know this but if when boreas start running around you and he plans to dash towards you to kill you. If you have an archer you can do fully charged shot to stop his dash half way a he'll go back running in a circle
Can you guys suggest? I’m farming for 5* artifacts at ar 42. Is it worth it? Or should I use (and level up) some good 4* artifacts for the mean time? Coz my charas damage is not really not high for lvl 80/70.
It's not really worth farming below ar45 because you're not guaranteed a 5* from domains, and it's hard enough to get good substats on the 5* you do get. When I turned AR40, it was a huge spike for me too. So I committed leveling the good 4* artifacts on my main dps carries (fischl & xiangling in my case, then fischl & klee). The rest of my main team, I leveled 4* artifacts moderately. I didn't always max them, but would raise them to like level 8-10. Some artifacts still aren't leveled at all. My Fischl still shreds with a +4 flower and a +0 hat because the substats on them are poopoo but I want the set bonus. But the rest of her set is solid for 4* and is maxed. When I switched main dps from Xiangling to Klee, I was also able to recycle a lot of her artifacts onto Klee. Not every char has to have a maxed set. I hope that helps.

Tho why are you not using Bloodstained 2x piece set on your Keqing? you mainly go for physical damage anyways as it seems and those 25% do boost the damage quite a bit. I can recommend it alot!

yep you can hit 100% there no issue, just its better go crit rate then more crit damage you want 1:2 ratio, since all chars start with 50% crit damage
I always make sure to have atleast 51% crit rate before i focus on critdamage

I recommend to refine and lock your 3 star weapons so you can auto add at 3star to level your weapons in the future

killing unusual hilichurl gives u 19 AR exp, so maybe he's killed 9 of em, or 19
Its weird that at ar40 I was getting legendary drops off world bosses every 2 fights or so but you literally got nothing.. im also at ar50 now and I'm getting potato. Did they accidently nerf ar50 drops or something??
God every player in this game is already so high level the new area is prob gonna be a breeze for them

I’d say don’t do the ruins for ar 50 but I’m pretty sure you can upgrade your characters. This way your world level won’t increase, and the boost from ar 50 compared to 45 is dog. and don’t forget that the enemies get stronger. And logically the boost doesn’t scale with the rewards
Im at ar44, getting 5star 2/4 world bosses. Is it possible to say they decreased the drop rate at higher WL?
I don't if a lot of people know this but if when boreas start running around you and he plans to dash towards you to kill you.
If you have an archer you can do fully charged shot to stop his dash half way a he'll go back running in a circle

I do the electro cube the same way :D I just put a Goba down for the first Crystal and use Q to destroy the other ones, a bit quicker :)
Can you guys suggest? I’m farming for 5* artifacts at ar 42. Is it worth it? Or should I use (and level up) some good 4* artifacts for the mean time? Coz my charas damage is not really not high for lvl 80/70.
It's not really worth farming below ar45 because you're not guaranteed a 5* from domains, and it's hard enough to get good substats on the 5* you do get. When I turned AR40, it was a huge spike for me too. So I committed leveling the good 4* artifacts on my main dps carries (fischl & xiangling in my case, then fischl & klee). The rest of my main team, I leveled 4* artifacts moderately. I didn't always max them, but would raise them to like level 8-10. Some artifacts still aren't leveled at all. My Fischl still shreds with a +4 flower and a +0 hat because the substats on them are poopoo but I want the set bonus. But the rest of her set is solid for 4* and is maxed. When I switched main dps from Xiangling to Klee, I was also able to recycle a lot of her artifacts onto Klee. Not every char has to have a maxed set. I hope that helps.

Tho why are you not using Bloodstained 2x piece set on your Keqing? you mainly go for physical damage anyways as it seems and those 25% do boost the damage quite a bit. I can recommend it alot!
