It's so cruel that this song was nothing more than Eloi's goodbye letter and everyone starts to love it without knowing that there was a very hard message in it. Now I even start to love this song even more, and reading the lyrics while listening the song it gives me shivers, goosebumps, and a lot of tears...

@@riknieuwdorp4440 Ik ga even verder in het Nederlands. Ja, het is écht, écht eeuwig zonde van zo'n geweldige band. En Eloi is (en zal waarschijnlijk altijd blijven), dé stem van Kensington. Het viel mij op dat er zo weinig gereageerd werd op "No me", terwijl dit nummer zoveel weergeeft over zijn vertrek.
Gelukkig hebben mijn man en ik nog wel kaarten van het afscheidsconcert. Daar dan nog maar eens, voor de laatste keer, intens genieten van Kensington in deze formatie.
Hoop dat jij daar ook nog met heel je hart kan genieten van deze geweldige muzikanten!

Ik vind Kensington qua sound al echt heel goed, maar hij is en blijft de stem van Kensington! Ik geloof niet dat je iemand gaat vinden met zo'n stem, die er zoveel emotie in steekt en zoveel passie.
Eigenlijk is hij gewoon Kensington, je herkent Kensington alleen al puur omdat je die bewuste stem hoort...
Ik ga 2 avonden naar de laatste Ziggo Dome shows, 1x 1e ring met mijn vriendin, en 1x staanplaatsen met mijn vriendin, ouders en wat vrienden.
Daar gaan we dan nog maar één laatste keer vollop genieten inderdaad!

Touches the soul, especially knowing he just recently stopped being a active member of the band. You feel the struggle of letting go of something you once loved and held dear. But you have to, to move on. Glad I stumbled on this song, cause I never heard it before. What a gem it is.

I get goosebumbs everytime I hear this song! For some reason I find the buildup really emotional ... hands down the best song by Kensington so far! Unfortunately, radio stations only play "What lies ahead" and "Uncharted" from this album (which are also awesome). But I think this song is really unique if you look at the structure: Verse 1, Verse 2, pre-chorus, Verse 3, pre-chorus, Chorus 1, post-chorus, bridge, Chorus 2. Such buildup to perfection! I LOVE IT!

Ik vind dit jullie beste nummer! Zelf 1,5 jaar thuis gezeten door een depressie. De teksten zijn erg herkenbaar, maar dit nummer zit in de fase waar ik nu ben. Ik kom er sterker uit dan nooit te voren. Doe mijn eigen ding, mijn nieuwe ik zoals ik het zelf noem. Dank jullie wel voor de mooie muziek.

Daarom beschrijft dit nummer ook echt 100% wat ik voelde.

I always wonder where you guys take your inspiration from...i mean i suffer my whole life from depression and every time i hear your music....are you writing from experience? Must be, bc. you can make me cry every time. You're so damn good with your music and lyrics! Always with a dark site on it. Of course, i hope this is not the case and you all alright.
