I have not heard this beautiful hymn before and am rejoicing in it's simplicity and eloquence. However, as I watch this for the first time, I am drawn to wonder how many of the congregation are with us today? The pandemic has taken from us so many loved ones and I pray that if anyone recognises a beloved father, mother, sister, brother, they will find comfort and not desolation! God bless.
Saying the words of this hymn as a prayer got me through the darkest and most dangerous time in my life about 25 years ago. For many years I have not been able to listen to it or even say the words because of the feelings of fear and panic it brought back. But it has been lovely to hear this version, and although the feelings are still a little dark, perhaps because I listened to it through, and have written this piece, may mean recovery is possible. I hope so, I am now78.
The last time I heard this song was one night when I was in my dormitory crying because I was feeling a bit sick. I just wanted to go home to my grandparents but amid the pandemic it was next to impossible to travel to my hometown. The next morning was finally able to book a flight and reach my hometown. My condition worsened and when tested, was declared covid positive and was hospitalized just in time. Had I not reached my hometown, I most probably wouldn't have survived. Love you Abba Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit
We sing this wonderfully popular hymn this Sunday at our church of St Marys in the parish of Handsworth Birmingham U.K.we have chosen it as our Gradual hymn, God Bless.
This song mentored me a Lot from my Catholic school from 1996 to 1999 St Theresa Girls, wherever am stuck,in trouble, poverty, I had to sing and it will come to passed. God bless the composers
Father, I place into your hands The things I cannot do, Father, I place into your hands The things that I've been through. Father, I place into your hands The way that I should go, For I know I always can trust you. Father, I place into your hands My friends and family. Father, I place into your hands The things that trouble me. Father, I place into your hands The person I would be, For I know I always can trust you. Father, we love to see your face, We love to hear your voice. Father, we love to sing your praise And in your name rejoice. Father, we love to walk with you And in your presence rest, For we know we always can trust you. Father, I want to be with you And do the things you do. Father, I want to speak the words That you are speaking too. Father, I want to love the ones That you will draw to you, For I know that I am one with you.
This tune is divine, we used to sing this hymn few minutes before 3pm preceding Divine Mercy Chaplet in my former parish in Nigeria. I love the hymn. Lord I place it all into Your able Hands. Have it done Your way.
Alan, The humble Saviour Jesus give you the strength to forgive. Forgiveness is more than feelings. If you pray for someone to receive God’s grace and mercy, YOU HAVE FORGIVEN THEM. Your feelings may resent them but when you pray, seeking God’s salvation for them this is what matters in God’s eyes. Be patient. God gave me the grace to forgive treacherous people who were often plotting me harm. I have forgiven them. Forgiveness heals the forgiving person, and the forgiven. Even though the forgiven may not be aware. Read your scriptures, for example the parable of the forgiving master and the unforgiving servant. Matthew ch 18 v 23 .
This has become my Favourite hymn this year,as I have been facing an ongoing battle with terrible health issues, and I found the lyrics so poignant - I can't do anything about these issues,so there's no better hands to place the situation in than the Lord and Father's. I've heard this hymn sung many times before, but never as beautifully as this. Thanks for uploading this version.Much love and many Blessings to all fellow Christians x x
My favourite of mine i think it's appropriate to me and it's the hyme I'm going to have at my wedding next year I think Jesus was a good man and I believe in God loads I wish I could of met Jesus because he's been kind and I forgive him forever Hannah cooper
Absolutely prayerful. Most often, what I find during masses is that the choir takes over and monopolizes the entire singing. The primary job of the choir is help the congregation sing well that blends well with the theme of the liturgy. Just a pastoral advice!

I pray that the church get revived and regain the solemn worship we ought to have and not the loud and carnal services we have. Amen
❤ I played this to my dear late nan a year ago. When she was passing away. We had a difficult year with family members passing. Including my dad.
Dear Lord Jesus, I place into your hands my heart. Please heal my broken heart and help me forgive . Amen

Yes... very uplifting...inspiring praise and worship!
This is a heavenly tune that truly reflects the Our Father prayer. Yes Father, your will be done, not mine...
