- Captain America gathers Scarlet Witch, Black Widow and Hawkeye to battle the Ultron Sentries. Black Widow makes a remark about Scarlet Witch wearing her jacket. The latter suggests that they try to get civilians out of the city before it rises too high. Quicksilver runs up, ready to fight, and the characters take off into the battle.

Good show, every episode is ~30min-ish, never outstays its welcome. Not procedural, there is a full connected story. It's good. Not magnificent or whatnot, but it's good. Check it out, you 'll probably like it. Plus it tries to bridge some gaps after Endgame and before the new series of movies start telling their story.

I love how Nat’s first priority when faced with the person who forced her to relive her most traumatizing memories against her will in probably the worst possible moment AND who had a huge hand in their current “genocidal robot” situation is that she’s wearing her jacket.
Considering all of that, it's kind of a bad@$$ moment.

Nat knows Wanda is a kid and has been through some crap.. not the same crap as she went through as a kid but still some crap and Nat ain't gonna hold a grudge against a child plus Nat understands that there was probably some subtle brainwashing/Stockholm Syndrome from a young age for the twins so she doesn't hold that against either of them. And in a way Wanda and Pietro probably reminds her a little of herself and Yelena.. the "That's my jacket." bit sounds more like a big sister griping to her parents that her little sister got into her closet and "borrowed" her favorite outfit without her permission. Slightly annoyed and exasperated but she's already caved in without a real fight on the matter because she's a big sister and she's used to having a kid sister that gets into her stuff but she'll be damned if she doesn't get to gripe at least a little on the matter.

She is only 5 years younger then Natasha... in fact she is the same age as Gamora, Yelena and Nebula and if you dont count the time he was frozen in the ice Wanda is 3 years younger then Steve. Considering she joined Hydra when she was around 22 she isn't much of a kid. The youngsters would be Vision, Groot and Peter Parker.

The scene where they're trying to lift Thor's hammer at the party, the scene with Cap and Iron Man where they're chopping firewood, the interactions between Hawkeye and both of the twins throughout the film, the flirtation between Black Widow and Banner, the running gag about Cap disapproving of "bad" language, to name just a few. All of these are better and feel more natural than this. This happens during the attack on Sokovia, all of these characters would have to stop fighting the Ultron drones for a few minutes, stop saving the lives of the people who are endangered for this? It would be a jarring interruption to the flow of the action. Like a needle skipping on a record. And it's neither particularly interesting, insightful or funny. I don't want to sound like I hated the scene, cuz I don't, but I totally understand why this would be cut. If I was editing this film this would be one of the first things I'd trim. And not to be nitpicky, but how did Natasha not notice Wanda was wearing her jacket before this? Say during a long quinjet flight between New York and Eastern Europe?
whobp8 not hundreds but a few, and those scenes are dedicated to show the viewers how the avengers live outside of actions. This scene is how the avengers interact with each other (beside fighting) when they are taking a short break from constantly fighting, it shows how they care for each other not only outside of the battlefield but also even when they are fighting. (Beside, taking a break -> they are tired -> they are humans, not machines that can fight restlessly). This also shows the only few time black widow actually interact with the twin, like they are friends not enemies which I can argue that, there aren’t many in the entire MCU, not just this film.

The strange thing about this is that Whedon has been known, and made his mark, by empowering the female characters, beginning with Buffy. So for him to turn around and deviate from what he does is weird. The Russos, who directed TWS, along with the screenwriters Markus and McFeely, are probably why we got the military aspect of their dialogue.

I'll never understand why they always cut the things that make the heroes feel more relatble, or more human. Natasha hyperfocusing on something she can control-instead of the flying city of robots. Barton plannign to back up her regardless of Cap-because she needs it and he can do it.
The fact Peitro before anyone else was already killing robots to help people but he still checks in on his sister.
and Cap giving orders and helping civies before anything else.

Comics version Quicksilver mentions this when talking to a young hero whose ability to learn skills by observation impairs her ability to relate to people emotionally (she can't shut off the hyper-analysis to just talk to someone without reading vocal stresses, micro-expressions, calculating whether they're lying, etc.). He explains his own issues with waiting what seems to him an endless amount of time for someone to finish talking, then having to carefully slow his response to their speed so they can understand it, etc. His line was "Imagine you are waiting in line behind someone at an ATM, who doesn't have the slightest clue how to use it, and you can't ask them to hurry up, or try to help them finish, because they'll freak out. Now imagine every interaction, even with people you love, is ten times that frustrating."

Ikr? People keep on liking the X-men version but they haven't acknowledged the fact that this version is much more faithful to the comic book version of quicksilver. I want this Pietro back honestly. They teased that he'll be revived in Infinity war like how they revived Coulson in agents of shield but they didn't. Wish he could've helped the fight in Endgame though, like he got brought back when Hulk snapped.
@@kuyaboben5300 Yeah that's why I prefer this Quicksilver because he's more faithful to the comic books. One of the reasons why I love Quicksilver because his arrogant, cocky, and brash personality. It sucks that Marvel Studios didn't want to explore that in the MCU. Especially since Disney bought Fox and have all the rights to the X-Men and Fantastic Four.

@Kai McCook WandaVision is most likely introducing Wanda's kids, Billy and Tommy. Tommy is a speedster who's a lot like Quicksilver named Speed. Plus, there will be another speedster in Eternals, Makkari. The character is one of the fastest beings in all of Marvel's history.
I thought he really nailed this kind of Balkan personality and really reminded me of my friend's husband from Albania.
They did such a perfect job on quicksilver just to kill him?!? Seriously the best take on that character I’ve ever seen. Cocky. Loyal. Strong convictions. Awesome sarcastic humor. A rare combination!

Pietro wouldn't say that. In the prep before Sokovia at Avengers tower, I'm pretty sure he pulled the jacket out of a closet and threw it to her (I was watching AOU in bits and pieces a couple days ago).
