Way back in the day i used to drive over the road. I remember going to the red gold plant in Indiana several times and hauling loads out of there. Great video man. It cool to see how these machines work. 👍

Outstanding Video Tyler. I remember mowing for the state highway , and we were on St.Rd. 31 somewhere around Whiteland. All I could see were tomatoes. Could this be you guys? Tomatoes rule.

How does it know which green ones to knock out?
There’s a computer right there before they come to the area where the people at. It knocks them out using blue sticks. That what I call em.

So of you harvest for 50 days in a row... Do plant everything at the same time? If yes does the tomato last that long without spoiling?
Steve Flores Nope! We will space out our plantings through a 6 week period, 30-50 acres per day, about once a week

I had no idea i thougbt tomatoes wr hand picked only from greenhouses.
I live in Oklahoma. I discovered its waaaay too brutally hot here 4anything. Realizing crops prefer north of south Missouri.
Been 100° 2.5 monrhs straight beginning mid April. U water &tomato nearly dead by evening starving 4more water. Beans, zilch. Wont even produce. All plants are just mercilessly brutalized here. Apples,, peaches nearly impossible
Nice video but you don’t need to badmouth others. I don’t know all the people Katona’s family farms sell to anymore besides Campbell’s. They are one of the largest north east growers and are just as diversified as you.
